Patch changes
We're pushing out a new Achievements feature. You now have one more way to show off your hard-earned achievements!

As part of this feature, we're subtly changing the forums CSS (styles). You may see "broken" looking styles for the next few minutes. This should be fixed momentarily.

We're also removing a lot of old features that have been disabled for months/years. Please post in Bug Reports if you find any broken linkies! Thanks!

Alchemy Updates

Sup Gaians emotion_yatta

We've just finished making some changes to the distribution and rarity of alchemy formulas:

-all formulas have been removed completely from rare events (giftboxes, trunks, fat cats) and Daily Chance
-many formulas are now available in The Bifrost, particularly component formulas needed for further crafting
-rare formulas remain in the Alchemist's Case with adjusted drop rates (good stuff should drop more often)

On a side note sort of, all past Dernier Cri items (except that Gilded Diamond thing) are now available in Dernier Cri.

Olympics/Towns 2.0 Issues

We've got a bug in the new Towns where navigating to another room causes a disconnect. This might drop you back into the first room or the app can freeze and you get stuck. Right now the devs are working hard on this problem and we expect to have it resolved shortly. I'll post again once we have everything ironed out. Sorry for the trouble!

Olympics/Towns Outstanding issues

The following are the larger things we're still working on and hope to be able to address tomorrow:

Changing rooms sometimes take a long time to finish loading.
Moving around while the server is still responding to a room change request sometimes causes you to get stuck in objects.
Leaderboard stats are not updating correctly.

Other useful general info:

A new game will be introduced every 2 business days. There are 5 games total.
Your stats on the event page updates every 5 minutes.
Town and leaderboard stats update every hour.
We'll release the announcement and put up the wing stickers once the above outstanding issues can be better addressed. Until then, have fun and goodnight!

Towns 2 window re-sized

We have decreased the window size of Towns 2 for those that were having issues with it being too large. (thanks Codemonkey37179!).

We have also launched the next game a bit early so everyone will have more to do over the weekend!
