Checkmate Tactics Error

We've just fixed an issue that wasn't letting the Chance Item progress beyond the White Bishop stage. It should start working again after the item cache finishes busting which will be in the next few minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience!

December Advance Chance Clarification

Hey everyone!

We're glad to hear you're having fun with the new CI releases, but we have noticed that some of you seem a bit confused about how this CI works. Let us clarify!

We wanted to try a fun, new approach to the CI release this month since it is the last CI of the year, and hey, we like having fun and know you do too!

Basically, this is an evolving CI which was split up into three parts so a story could be made of opponents going back and forth. We also thought you'd like the chance to get a crack at entirely new items.

At any rate, both the Dark and Light Advance Chance bundles are open now and today will be the conclusion of the story which will function like a normal CI including even MORE new items.

New Profile/Signature Reporting

We've just rolled out some shiny new changes to make reporting profile and signature content easier. To report rule-breaking content in one of these areas going forward, all you need to do is go to the user's profile and click the "Report this Profile" link in the top-right corner of the header. This will take you to a report form where you can select the specific reason you're reporting the content, which section has rule-breaking content, and provide any other details to help the Moderator who ends up handling the report. For example, to report someone's signature for having sexually explicit content in it, you would just select "Sexually Explicit Material" for the reason, "Signature" for the section, and include any other helpful details. Existing signature/profile reports in other queues will still be handled in the order they were filed but please use this method of reporting to file any future reports for offending profile/signature content.

The addition of this report link in the profile header has led us to strictly enforce the placement of the header in user profiles. You may no longer alter the display/visibility, location, height, width, or font size of the header, logo, or any text in it. While this has always been the rule with profiles, it wasn't actually enforced from a programmatic side like it is now. This decision was made so as to ensure that the report link is always visible and available to users needing to use it. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Extreme Couponing - Gaia Edition

Earlier tonight there was a glitch with the coupon system that resulted in many of you receiving 10 coupons out of the blue. This was not intentional and the issue has since been fixed so no one else should receive the glitched 10 PMs anymore. This was our bad so we're not going to be removing them this time around and anyone who did receive them is free to use them as they like. I've included the details for the coupons below if you are unsure of their specifics.

• Coupons are good for 10% off of the regular price of GCash when buying via PayPal or Credit/Debit card ONLY
  
• Coupons cannot be combined
  
• Coupons are non-transferable. Any coupon sent to your account is tied specifically to your account so no one else can use it.
  
• Coupons valid through 01-14-2014 21:00 PST
