I'm trying to think of a good New Years party outfit
but then I realize almost all the New Years parties I've ever been to were also Christmas parties gonk
and I don't think I've ever been to one that wasn't a family party

I've only been to family New Year's parties... except last year I went to a friend's house and was with their family. xd
This year I have no plans. My parents might be going over to my aunt & uncle's place but I won't be going. I'll probably spend it on Gaia or something.

This is the first year that we're not throwing a party[since he has to work that night]
So I may be here, gaming, or asleep.
Our New Year's parties are normally a classy affair with family and friends or either an all out party scene that may look like something out of a college movie when we were younger and heavier drinkers.
I thank the gods that we're calmed down and became 'old people'. lol

I started losing weight this year now I just need to finish it.

I lost weight in college. emotion_awesome
But I gained a couple pounds lately because I was living with my parents
Now that my husband and I are in an apartment I can work out and eat well again

And size 0 exists to make girls feel good about themselves.
We get small numbers instead of actual measurements.
I'm hovering on the verge of a 2 right now. xP

You're lucky. NO ONE loses weight in college.
I maintained my weight until I quit cheerleading, and then I bounced up from a zero to a two, and now I could probably even wear a four. gonk

Some people are naturally more petite, I guess! When you're super short, a six can be a really big size.

I'm getting into the habit of setting goals rather than resolutions. Goals are inherently more quantifiable, so it's easier to set up a plan and track it. Like "I want to lose 30 pounds in six months" and setting a diet and exercise plan with that, rather than just saying "lose more weight".

That weight statement is one of my goals, but I also have financial goals. My husband and I still need to sit down and figure out the numbers, though, as we also want to travel abroad and get out of debt, complicated by the fact that my paychecks are not steady this time of year.

And then I want to start journaling daily, but I'm not sure how to build up that habit yet.
