That is a gross generalization.
My original purpose for being vegetarian is because I just don't like the taste of meat. Any meat. I just don't like it.
I don't care so much about the animal rights, although I admit for me it does feel a bit better on my conscious. But I hate organizations like PETA that try to shove the whole vegetarianism/veganism and animal rights thing down peoples throats.
I have lots of meat eating friends and I don't give a s**t if they eat all the meat in the world. Personally, I just won't eat it. And that doesn't make me any more or less important than the next person.
