I've always considered myself alright at acting and singing

and now that I have the chance,

my school is putting on Willy Wonka as this years musical

Can anyone help me find an odd monologue so I might be able to get a part?

I hope this isn't too late, but I found two really great comedy monologues. They're both by Walter Wykes. One's from The Spotted Man and the other is from The Worker. Just google "Walter Wykes worker monologue" or "Walter Wykes spotted man monologue" and that should get them for you.
