You sit at school for about seven hours doing work and tests and all that junk, and then you get an hour or two of homework. I don't get it, why make us go to school for countless hours and then give us homework.

so u remember what u learned at school
cuz usually they teach u the lesson and then u apply what u learned to actual work

So you can be sure to remember what you learned.

@_@ I generally don't need it... But I kind of do now. I was so stressed the first 2 weeks of school that I couldn't focus properly and I'm already having issues keeping up.
(FUUUUUUUUUUUUU @ play rehearsals for 2 weeks where I leave an hour after I get home and get home at 11pm. No sleep + exhaustion from singing, dancing, and running around for around 5-6 hours = death.)

because if they didn't give you homework, you'd have to finish everything in class
so either you won't have time and you'll get a failing grade
or you get another 2 hours of school.

well considering the fact that you don't study one solid thing for 7 hours, no.
i have 8 subjects. only 45 minutes long.
thats not enough time to learn/fully absorb something.

not that i ever do my homework anyway :/

if homework wasn't graded, i wouldn't care. More than half my grade counts on homework. I do more homework than actual school work.

In math we always had to do problems with the teacher while she was teaching it
like 'example' problems.
If someone didn't get it, we had to do more while she explained again.

I go to school for 8 hours. Where are you getting 7 hours from? neutral Anyways, I barley do my homework at all once I get home. I usually remember it once I am walking to school and I would be like "********, I remembered I had homework last night, but I was lazy...ughh" Because I hate doing homework when I am at home. When I am home it is time for me to chill and do nothing. I just finished my homework for tomorrow class in US History and I am typing this. Ha! I really have no comment in this anyways, it is not my cup of tea but I am drinking it. neutral
