Light, because he's an a** to everyone around him. Though he loses points for not using Misa like he should have (come on, we were all thinking it), he gains many points for being bas-a** enough to trick a freakin' god of death into killing themselves.

And Rem, because she's the only character other than Light's father that doesn't have their head up their a** for the whole anime. She was just careless enough to let her emotions get the best of her.
