We've got an exciting new feature coming out soon, and we need a few intrepid Gaians to help us test it. We'd like to invite all Gaians who have purchased Collectibles or Gaia Cash within the last 31 days to take part in the Gaia Toolbar beta test.

The Gaia Toolbar will let you stay connected to Gaia even when you're elsewhere on the Web. The Toolbar provides alerts & updates about your account:

  • Avatar and Quick Links - Check your outfit and quickly navigate to key Gaia areas.

  • Search - Search Gaia tags, topics & users, or search the Web with Yahoo! Search.

  • Private Messages - Get alerted whenever you receive a Gaia PM.

  • News & Alerts - Get the latest Gaia news bulletins; see how many Gaians are currently online.

  • Friend Status - Get updates on new friend requests and see whether your friends are online.

  • Market - Follow auctions from your watchlist and get updates on pending trades.

  • Gold and Gaia Cash - Monitor your wealth! Keep your mind on your money and your money on your mind. Also: you'll earn Gaia Gold by browsing with the Toolbar, just as you would by browsing Gaia itself.

  • Gaia Forums - See the most popular threads and view updates to your forum and journal subscriptions.

Visit the link below to download the Gaia Toolbar. Please give it a spin!

Note: the above link is the only official download location for the Gaia Toolbar. If somebody sends you download link that is anything other than is not hosted on gaiaonline.com, it is not officially from Gaia and may not be the Gaia Toolbar. Be sure to check the URL before downloading.

We appreciate your help! To report any bugs or issues you run across, please visit this thread in our Site Feedback forum.

Why is this beta test available only to purchasers?
Although we're not trying to play favorites, we need to limit the beta test to a smaller group of users, and allowing Gaians who have purchased stuff to participate is currently the simplest way for us to select test candidates; we already have a system that prevents purchasers from seeing ads, so we're able to use the same system to run the beta test without additional programming.

We're currently working on an official Gaia beta test program, so we won't have to do this sort of thing for much longer.
