Couldn't sleep, good company via texting/calling friends at ungodly hours.
Busy Sunday, like usual.
Work was stressful, like usual... yet despite my lack of sleep I made decent time and was awake.
Went out to dinner tonight, not usual, but has been for the past month or so?
Get in the car after dinner, Addison says there's bad news.
I say someone died.
He said yes, Luna.
...One of Catarina's kittens was in a neighbors truck this morning, in the engine.
Which, he started, [around 9:30am, I was already at work] and stopped when he heard the kitten's screams.
He knocked on our door, Addison answered.
The neighbor asked Addison to identify the kitty.
Her neck was broken, she was limp, the back of her skull bloody.
It was Luna.
She was gone.
Addison buried her out in the hole, with her unborn siblings.
Luna was born around 7am June 5th.
Today is October 12th.
She lived a short life.
I just sat in the car for a while.
Finally went in, routine, let Fox out back, went to play with the kitties.
It's weird to see Mama Catarina, Mouse, the orange boys, and Garren [male name but a girl, now the only.] without Luna.
Fox still played.
Kittens still wanted pets, and lounged about.
The world still goes on.
It's simply depressing.
In a way... I'm relieved.
Luna wasn't fully black, she had some beautiful tuffs in her fur.
She was the absolute softest of all her siblings.
She was the cuddle bug of all of them.
..Just two days ago, she was chasing her own tail in the circle where her siblings are...now..shes joined them.. its just... upsetting.
Anyway, a bit okay with it, as with Halloween coming up I would have worried for her safety.
She's resting now, I won't have to.
I'm downhearted to have only this as our current Halloween decor by the front door though:

All right, Gaians, it's time for me to officially settle a Halloween imbalance that's been driving me nuts for years. Cats have long been the familiars of witches and warlocks, right? But that's not entirely fair! I mean, we kittens are incredible beings of vast (and superior) intelligence. Frankly, the witches and warlocks should be familiars to the cats! But alas, the amount of kitten witches is alarmingly few. Well, no more! I'm here to uplift all you would-be wizards to a new plane of power! Behold, my latest creation!
[Animal] Nekonomicon will finally help tip the scales a bit in the favor of felines, rather than those smelly old humans. No longer will we be merely content to ride on the edge of a broomstick! (A working hazard if I ever saw one, by the way. Those witches don't even provide their kitty familiars with helmets!) No, today we ride entirely on our own. Been fighting some pretty strong things in life.
The the point, of just within the past month.
Days like this just tempts me.. do it, end your life, it's meaningless anyway...
I know its wrong. I know I shouldn't.
The sirens just keep singing, and I keep trying to avoid its enchanting song.
I want death's embrace so I don't have to feel this depressed anymore.
To worry more than I must.
To just be done with it all.
I can't right now, people still depend on me.
I have to smile and still tell the truth to their shocked faces.
And it hurts either way, to continue living in misery or to kill myself, selfishly hurting others.
It's a hard thing to overcome.
Thanks for those whom deal with me time to time.
My appreciation is hard to express in the right words, so, thank you.
..on the flip side.. seems the meds are doing a good job.
There seems to be low or even no sign of a tumor left due to blood tests.
Yet, I have between 5-10 years before the medication erodes my heart valves.
My last appointment was on the 1st.
I'm to go again in February, however, was warned if my heart palpitations increase my appointment has to be moved earlier.
I'll do my best.
As long as I keep my stress down risk won't increase.
God isn't supposed to give you more than you can handle right?
I lean on others to help, even if they don't bare the full weight of my burdens, or I silently just want your company, trust me, it means a lot.
Again, thanks to everyone, your companionship means the world to me.
I wish I could express it better to you all individually.
