Aquatic Illusions
Story
"When the sky blazes red, you must flee." A distance voice spoke.
Turning slightly over, Malia awoke with a start. This was the same dream as countless times ago. What was it's meaning? She wasn't sure whether to heed its's warning or not. Finally rising from her bed, she swam towards her vanity.
'Perhaps I should tell someone.' She thought, brushing her golden strands with a tortoise comb. Satisfied with herself in the mirror, she wafted outside. Her world was a beautiful one. Houses here and there dotted the ocean's surface, while Illusions bustled about their lives. Smiling, she decided to explore, with the hope of settling her troubled mind. Swimming through fields of coral and sea grass, she waved at the fish around her, unaware of what was to come.
The world, Terre, was entirely composed of water. Humans, in order to cope with sinking land, began to evolve into Illusions. Now, with all the life under the sea, their settings were quite different. It was as though as they evolved, technology had de-evolved into simple tools that were necessary to live. Life began again as plainly as it had eons ago. However, there was a fortelling of a disaster that would wipe away their beautiful home. Being the rational creatures, the Illusions shrugged it off.
"My, the sun is bright today." Malia commented to herself. Deciding to go near the surface, she swam upwards. The words of her dream haunted her, as she raised her head out of the water. Looking to the sky, she had to squint. The sunlight from below was filtered by the ocean, so this brightness was always new to her. That's when she noticed it. Racing towards home, she feared what she was warned about.
"The sun! The sun! It's turned a blood red! We must escape!" She screamed at the Illusions she met. She didn't think that it would be true, that her dream was just that, a dream.
"So what?"
"It won't do anything." The Illusions responded to her. However, there were a few that still believed in that warning that was given long ago. Gathering all she could, they fled to a location even deeper than their village. Praying to the gods for the best, Malia and the rest waited in fear.
Many years after the Eclissi disaster, the Illusions were fading away. Whether from hunger, or the disaster itself, they became a rare breed. Many of the Illusions were too poor to care for their young, so they simply abandoned them. There were few towns left, so many were left to wander and fend for themselves. To prevent any further deaths from disease and such, their saviour, Malia, was put in charge of rescuing and helping young Illusions that were found within the wastelands. She wanted to create the grand world that she once knew, saving one Illusion at a time.

Aquatic Illusions
Our roleplaying for breeding slots event is now over, and there are plenty of babies floating around. And thus xTwisTx has decided that she needs some help! She could make most use of a colorist, but considers all offers of help. =P
If you want to apply to be a colorist, please post or PM links to example work along with a short statement about why you would like to be involved with the shop. You'll get paid for whatever yo do, and we can figure out the specifics later. This might be a lengthy process, as xTwisTx is fairly selective. Also she will probably prefer people she has seen around before so stick around!

Baby: Illusions begin life as a baby. They can't do much at this stage in life. This stage lasts for one week.
Toddler: At this stage, Illusions can talk and swim on their own. By nature, they are curious. They also begin to develop their own personalities. This stage lasts for one week.
Child: At this stage, Illusions have unique personalities. They have grown stronger, but still haven't earned the respect of the adults. This stage lasts for two weeks.
Adult: This is the Illusions' final stage. They are full-grown and able to live on their own. They can also breed.

Illusions can breed only once every full moon. They usually have between two and four Illusions. Different and same gender breedings are possible. There is a service charge of 20,000g (10k per owner). You must have both owner's consent to breed the Illusions.

To order a potion, first make sure the shop is open. Then, PM Aquatic Illusions with which potion you want and for what Illusion you own. Then send a trade to Aquatic Illusions with the correct amount of gold. Potions can be bought and saved for future use.
Gender Change Potion
This potion will change an Illusion's gender. It can only be used on Adult Illusions.

This potion will change a familiar into an Adult Illusion. It can only be used on familiars.

Growth-Slowing Potion
This potion will stop your Illusion from growing past the current stage. This effect can only be reversed using a Growth Spurt Potion.

Growth Reversal Potion
This potion will revert your Illusion to the previous stage. The will continue to grow normally after that. This potion cannot be used on Baby Illusions.

This potion will help your Illusion grow to the next stage immediately after drinking. He or she will continually to grow normally after that. This potion cannot be used on Adult Illusions.

Familiars are small pets kept by your Illusions. Several types are available. You can order them when the shop is open. Send a PM to Aquatic Illusions with the form found later in this post. You can chose to have the familiars colored like your Illusion or with custom colors. Randomly-colored Familiars cost 1,000g. Familiars colored to match an Illusion cost 1,500g. Custom-colored Familiars cost 2,500g. Familiars come on a cert like the following:

Q: Can we role-play?
A: We encourage role-playing in the main thread as well as in the guild. You can create private RPs in the Guild. Please keep it PG-13.
Q: Can I buy more than one Illusion in a flatsale?
A: You can buy up to two Illusions in a flatsale, as long as they are going to different owners. For example, if you want to buy one for yourself and one for a friend, that's fine.
Q: Can I get lineart edits for my Illusion?
A: Lineart edits are not readily available, as they are usually saved for auctions and special events. However, we have a shop that will provide smaller edits to already existing Illusions. Check it out by clicking here!
