Wow, your avatar is gorgeous.
The colors and texture blend perfectly together.
I especially love the eyes with that background.
I think you have a perfect balance of items without it feeling too cluttered.

It feels like it's missing something to me.
Maybe something at the bottom like a tail that wraps around.
Or it might be the face. It looks very plain in that area.
I see your theme, but definitely try adding something to it.

I'm super impressed.
I have a huge thing for darker themes and yours is perfect.
The colors blend perfectly and it doesn't come off as too cluttered.
The upper half is my favorite; your face with those horns, and whatever that item is behind them.
It really sets the tone for the rest.
