Free giveaways don't work... I've watched a couple shops try that route.
Lowering prices -might-, but there's no guarentee.
Contests don't seem to, even for well-known shops.
Seriously, I have no idea. @_@

Oooh! One thing that does help sales that I've seen, though... is an auction.

But who knows, really. Gaia can be quite fickle and stuff happens a lot that doesn't quite seem to make sense.

I kept on worrying that I was just being dellusional thinking I'd priced low enough already and that was the reason we weren't getting any sales-- I was wrong or somesuch... sweatdrop
