Her voice didn't suit it at all, the anthem is supposed to be a traditional song sung traditionally
Not filled with annoying voice acrobatics like she sang it. Could they not have chosen someone better suited?

They should have done a sound check, because clearly they had some issues and perhaps she should have rehearsed a bit.

Christina really screwed up and we should have a right to criticize her for it because hey, its her homes song and if everyone screwed it up we wouldn't be much of a unified nation. But still, how many people do YOU know that can sing like that?!?!?!?! like one? Two? ZERO? My point is her singing was good but unsuited for a traditional song, and forgetting the lyrics mustve been pretty embarassing and she houl've made more of an effort, but we should stop criticizing her for it.
