"EXPAND YOUR TOWN" Glitch? Not sure...

Alright so, I've been playing Summer Springs.

And a while after I first started, it showed I had 30 cash to expand my Town for more room,
I clicked 'Expand Your Town' in the direction I wanted, and then clicked BUY and it didn't make my Town expand any after I made the purchase.

I just got 30 cash again, and tried the same thing now to try and expand my Town...

And it didn't expand it again. Is this a glitch, or will it eventually make my Town bigger from the expansions I bought?

Also, the 22x22 expansions are no longer showing available to purchase.

So does that mean I did buy them already?
Because it did take the cash and they're not showing.

It didn't work for me either.

Each expansion you buy automatically expands your land by one square on each side. It's almost unnoticeable.
