So I just watched the hunger games and loved the movie, but still liked the book better which is never a shocker, but I just wanted to know what everyone else thought. I also want to know what scenes everyone thinks should have been put in the movie.

I honestly really liked them both.
Rue's death was a looooot more moving in the book, though.

Book! The book is always better than the movie adaption. No exceptions. biggrin

But the movie adaption was so amazing. I'm a little disappointed that Madge and Lavinia weren't there, but it was great!

That's not even a contest; book, hands down. The movie sucked, they got a lot of stuff wrong, and it felt really half done. I know you can't get a movie right when trying to adapt it from a book because that would have to be a nine hour long spectacle, but it was like they didn't even try. I took the movie back the second I saw the end credits start playing.
