I rooted for Gale through out the series until the Quarter Quell, then I was rooting for Peeta, but in the end I was Team Gale.

I prefer not to say "team ___" because of the whole Twilight association. I would have enjoyed the books a lot more if Gale was just her friend who was so close he was more like a cousin/brother, instead of having to bring the whole love triangle romance thing in.
As a character, I preferred Gale in the first book, and Peeta in the third. They both pissed me off in the second.
