As for anne hataway, I can't really say much on her acting, since this only thing I saw of hers was even stevens.

But this shoop does give me some hope that ann could make a good catwoman.

I know brave and bold is lame but thats why I love it

so I cant accept a photoshop as evidence

Though aside from actors the villains themselves seem like a step down considering the damage did to Batman and Gotham by Joker. Black mask or Hush seem like better options for villians.

yeah I mean Joker has done so much in the last movie, and there is no way catwoman will be that much of a menace shes a jewel thief, and bane even when hes using his best strategies is usually just a muscle bound fighter, I know hes smart but dunno whats been his most complicated plan

I am still hoping for a cyber hacker riddler, riddler seems like he can cause gotham the most harm even if he does it all from a room

I would love a movie combining both of them
black mask is the gangster taking over the gotham crime world
and hush is the mastermind pulling all the strings
gives an excuse to bring back the scarecrow so he can be in all three movies

I know I hate myself for this but I can almost see a harly quinn, crazy, doesnt take responsiblity for her actions,

you have to remember the woman, and yes you need a woman not a gawky teenager,
needs to have all the finesse of a cat and all the strength of a woman

no in between and frankly off top of head dunno who should play catwoman instead
I personally think an open casting call wouldve found the real selina out there
heck a girl who is just trying to use this movie as footstep into the bigger hollywood world, already has a catwoman cunning and sly ness,

thats not sufficient evidence to prove she can play catwoman,
catwoman is a tease, and at much home in the slums as she is in her penthouse
with all the grace and teasing of a cat

hathaway has no catlike qualities

and thats probably the only reason why people doubted ledger, and personally I never heard one complaint of ledger before the dark knight was released

touche I admit Im not a big hathaway fan to begin with
and I have no idea what kinda catwoman Nolan is planning

and I personally apologize for anythign anybody said about ledger after his death, cause a joke is a joke, but no one is allowed to mock the dead for any reason especially the recently deceased

but I have been reading batman comics since I was very little and feel like I know all the characters well enough to have a valid reference point to compare them to
and the biggest requirement for catwoman is femme fatale, and well hathaway in my opinion barely has the femme part down,

and I would love to argue that the joker is an easy character to create and act as, while catwoman when being true to comics is much harder, if your doing campy adam west batman then easy as pie

I mean the joker is almost as flat of a character as you will ever see,
hes a crazy clown that kills, hes been that way since his original conception as a concept, though his methods have gotten more large scale as time went on
literally there is more debate abuot the jokers origins than his character, cause it has remained the same

catwoman is a round character and a much harder character to play
its like thta line between flirty and slutty, strong and sensitive, good and bad
and much like a cat catwoman needs to be able to walk this line without a worry or care,

I admit off top of head I cant think of anyone to play her, but thats why we have open casting calls, and see who is the kitty's meow

I mean this is a classic example of comic book movies with big name stars so they have more fanbase

I mean they want justin beiber to play robin in a potential teen titans movie
sandra bullock for wonder woman cause shes a big star,

sure sometimes a big star can do the trick but I mean they are not goign to be all robert downey jr playing tony stark

I mean he was an alcoholic, drug using womanizing rich kid,
the problem with this statement is am I talking about downey or stark

they cant just get big stars for these movies
thats one of the reasons batman and robin failed so miserably big stars, small plot

Can't quote atm seems like. Yes Catwoman can be very complex as well as the Joker in some cases but as always it depends on the writers. I don't really wouldn't call Anne much of a big star as it does seems most people aren't fans. Now had they got Megan Fox to be Catwoman then you people would have a fair and just statement with these anti-Anne threads. I think for the most part Nolan been very nice to both the mainstream and the comic fan which is nearly impossible to do. I would have liked that after the real CAT-tastrophe with Heath's death that my fellow Bat fans would learn to keep their mouths shut till the actual movie comes out. Or at the very least till we get a few trailers and the plot is released. I fully believe it's really immature and premature to have all this bawwling for no good reason. While Anne may not be the best actor for the role I do believe we can all list people even worst. So why can't we just wait and see what happens before making a call?

honestly I just need a place to vent of my distaste for this decision, I mean I have no idea how nolan is planning on doing this movie so maybe hathaway is ideal for this role, but until I see proof I am going to hold my position that it is probably a bad choice, its shallow and ignorant but its just how I feel for this I mean batman is one of my childhood heroes, and truth be told I only saw batman and robin the first time last summer, I mean star power doesnt make a good movie, unless its a comedy and then your allowed to shove in everyone ya can find ya knwo

Was just watching Batman Brave and Bold, its lame, but I love it for its lame-ness and all the lownames that get screen time

anywho, they opened with Catwoman
and got curious to see if Selina is still her in the comics and learned somethign that made me sick to my stomach

We are all excited for teh Dark Knight Rises movie
the third batman movie from christopher nolan
but I just found out

Anne Hathaway is going to be Catwoman

and a white guy is going to be Bane, but Ill complain about that as the date gets closer, plus as long as he wears a mask Ill forget it quick enough

normally I dont argue with casting, cause Im not in teh "biz" but
I cannot stand this
I mean there is nothing catty feminate about hathaway


and her smile is too toothy for a seductress
and she just has that awkward feelings about her
in most of her movies shes been that awkward not that ugly girl

Did we learn nothing from that abortion of a movie "Get Smart" and her as Agent 99
Don Adams god rest his go go gadget soul, is still rolling in his grave from that movie

So I was wondering how do you guys feel about this?

just to say i love Anna Hathaway for many movies, but catwoman does not fir her image. She's them ore fun loving type of person and comedic. I don't wanna say she has no sex appeal, she just doesn't have that iconic seductiveness that previous cat women's had. thats my opinion cat_cool
