I don't like it.
Doesn't look like Catwoman.
Just Anne Hathaway attempting to look badass and failing.

This.

Not to mention that I've never been overly fond of Catwoman.

I've always liked her, but I'm a Harley Quinn girl myself.

Once again, we agree. Harley is fantastic.
I wish more people understood the tragedy behind Harley Quinn. She's another victim of a psychotic madman who's had more than his fair share of victims. But, instead, folks seem to look at it like she's got some genuine relationship going on with him. If you ask me, anyone who considers the relationship between Harley and the Joker to be a romantic one has no right to criticize the relationship of, say, for example, Edward and Bella.

Harley's a victim of brainwashing and is constantly abused psychologically. If the Joker is Charlie Manson in clown makeup, then Harley's his Manson girl.

She is abused physically and mentally. He basically uses her for any and everything and she is so blindly in love with him that she is basically a Manson girl. What they have is in no way a healthy love or even a healthy attraction but it is somewhat a love non the less. I'm not saying the brainwashing and psychological damage that he has done and does to her doesn't play a part in that but there has to be something even minute there between them. They are both honestly people who are villains because of circumstance and its actually quite a tragic love. That is honestly why I wish Heath Ledger and Brittany Murphy were still alive because if anyone could have brought the Harley Quinn and Joker complexity to the big screen it would have been those two actors and Nolan.

I'd say she's been brainwashed into loving him, but if you ask me, he doesn't love her. No matter how tragic his origin might have been (emphasis on "might" considering we have yet to get the real deal), he is a monster through and through, with no sympathy or empathy for others at all. He would go so far as to kill her himself if he thought it would amuse him. It's not some Phantom affair between two lunatics. It's an incredibly damaged girl and the guy who damaged her for fun.

I can agree with 98% of what you said and if I'm not mistaken he has tried to kill her numerous times even going so far one time as to strapping her to a rocket if I'm not mistaken.

This will be my third year cosplaying as her and she is so much fun to be.
I've added in my own little Batman twist this year.

IGN - New Look at Catwoman

More complete images of Anne in costume. Most people seem to be disliking the look, but I'm liking the retro-utilitarian vibe. cool

Looks kind of like a three-way blend of Jim Balent's Catwoman, Darwyn Cooke's Catwoman (the goggled outfit most people see these days), and the Julie Newmar Catwoman.

I like it. If it had been me she would have had a cowl of some sort, but still, I like it. It's nice to see that, while fanboys and fangirls like to disown the 60s series, clearly Nolan has just enough respect for it to incorporate that particular look into his world (impractical as it may be).
Didn't really expect her to play Catwoman, but it would be interesting to watch. The Bane character looks cool.

Bane looks like he could be pretty cool but Cat Woman looks like the bat girl from batman forever with George Clooney

That's Batman and Robin. Batman Forever was the one with Val Kilmer.

Costume seems a bit too Kai Leng-y (anyone who's played ME3 will know what I mean), but nothing I've seen for the movie has really turned me off from it. I still plan on seeing it on my birthday.

Dangerous Sex Symbol

Did you know that:
When Anna Hathaway was called in to talk to Nolan about her role in TDKR she had it in her head that she was going to play Harley Quinn.

I would have loved to have seen that,
but from what I'm seeing so far I'm LOVING her as Catwoman and have COMPLETE faith that she will be wonderful as Catwoman.

And if people seriously don't think she'll be good as Catwoman then you can go ******** yourself.
And the same appiles over to Tom Hardy being Bane.

In Nolan we trust.
