July 20 FML so long from now. idk what to think, the last film was suppossed to be the last, so at first i was like "i bet his heart is into TDKR because he didnt originally want to do it" but the trailer makes me reluctant to say that it may be almost as good as the last.

i feel that Anne Hathaway will make a terrible catwoman. Shes unattractive, and i cant take her seriously. im just going to replace her with a censorship block in my mind while i watch it.

I think Anne Hathaway is kinda hot... well maybe in movies like The Princess Diaries (Not the second one) and some of her earlier films and in that one scene in Get Smart.
I think Michelle Pfeiffer did Catwoman very well, Halle Berry in the movie Catwoman not so much, so i guess is Anne will do okay.

I hate Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne / Batman, he just doesn't do it right, all Batman fans know Batman is way more but kicking (and not that thin) and Bruce is more intelligent, Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer did a credible performance of both roles.

Bane, just no....... Anyone else see the commercial? Tom hardy looks like some weird version of Hannibal lector with that mask, and he blows up a Football field with some bombs..... it seems their may not be any venom or the classic buffed, back breaking, bane.......just some guy with problems.

I can't enjoy the hype knowing that this will be the 3rd in the series.
And as we all know, part 3 is never as good (possible exception for toy story Toy Story)

I feel the opposite. I loved Adam West's Classic portray of batman, and i love Christian Bales portray of the darker more modern batman. i found Michael Keaton to be alright, didnt love it but didnt hate it. However found Batman Forever & Batman and Robin to be nothing but Hollywood Stars and hype, and didnt really feel like batman.

i can't take Anne Hathaway seriously, have you seen the trailer where she whispers to bruce wayne? shes neither sexy nor badass, its just makes me throw my hands up in the air and say WHAT THE HELL!

I like the way they did Bane, they are trying to be realistic with this trilogy, thats why the batmobile is a tank and not some crazy modified civilian car. While its not cartoony like the comics, you have to remember your watching a movie.

In all honesty? The actor I'm most excited to see again is Michael Caine. I'm still going to watch it, of course, because it's Batman. The action aspect will always appeal to me. But after Heath Ledger's performance...I don't know if they're going to be able to top that.

Directors/Writers/Producers are so under appreciated. i could care less about actors unless they ******** up a movie with their terrible acting, in which case will stop the focus on the movie and more on how bad the actor can be. its all about the movie following a story, complimenting whats happened previously while presenting something fresh. its never about outdoing the previous. Thats why people say the original of a series is the best, because starting fresh is always easy, and typically Producers/Directors/Writers bring out the best of their talents in the first installment.

I agree that those who put it all together are just as, if not more, important than everyone else involved in a film. I'd never be able to direct a second or third installment of a well thought of series, knowing that a group of avid fans were anticipating what was to come next. Eek.

I was only mentioning the cast because I'm confident that Nolan and the others won't fail to please, along the lines of plot development. Presentation and a sturdy cast is also important, however. As it's been said, I'm not too confident that Ann Hathaway is going to cut it as Catwoman.
