The movie Avatar is scheduled for rerelease in theaters this August. Thats right sometime this august we will be able to watch Avatar once again in theaters, but this time with an extra six minutes of completly new footage.
Also two sequals have been planned for the movie, with the first coming to theaters in 2014. They will focus more on the other moons near Pandora, and the second will feature the oceans of the moon Pandora.

4laugh when I first read "Avatar" I thought "THE LAST AIRBENDER!" And then saw the posters and "WTF? What's that?" But then I saw the teaser for "The Last Airbender" and thought "COOL!!! AVATAR!!!" sweatdrop
I had not seen Avatar yet, maybe will go watch it in 3D then in august. I hear about movies being released in 3D for theaters from this year and on. And Avatar being one of the re-releases in 3D. But definitely I don't want to miss The Last airbender in 3D.
Great, because that's what we need. Avatar to be longer.
And by six whole minute, too! :O If you ask me, it'll only make money off of those people who haven't seen Avatar in the first place. Six minutes is not worth 10 dollars at the movie theaters.
Uhmm I guess KeesjeCola is a bit right
The story was kind of common besides the whole aliens and on another planet thing
But they were fighting for their land in the movie
Which is like some army movies I guess...
Oh and
I'll pay for the extra 6 minutes if it's really worth it
I hope someone reviews it..
And I knew they were deciding to make a sequel
And I was wondering what it would be about...
But I never thought they would do the other moons
I can't wait > w<
Oh and...
Yeah..Seeing it in 3D was...
Yeah...
They didn't make any scenes that had any things popping out at you
And I think James Cameron is a bit of a money hog...
Since he released both dvd and blueray with no special features
I think they're releasing the ones with special features in August
But thats just a guess...
So yeah...someone wants to roll in money...
