"...Out of the crooked timber of humanity...
I lost close to 200 lbs, so far. Honestly, I didn't go about it a healthy way... I was depressed, from a bad breakup, and just had no appetite and didn't eat. I noticed I was losing a lot of weight, quickly, so started fasting intentionally, living off an orange and 100 ml of yoghurt, daily. It continued until I ended up in the hospital, from passing out with low blood sugars (I am not diabetic, though).
Now I do the simple eating healthy and exercise bit... it doesn't come off as fast, but I don't feel half dead all the time. I might have a bit of yoghurt and an orange for breakfast... once or twice a week I'll have eggs with a bit of cheese, hashbrowns, and a croissant. For lunch I'll have something like a veggie wrap with 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar and olive oil or a cup of mixed berries and some carrot sticks. For dinner, I might have a baked potato and steamed vegetables, or a bowl of soup, or something like falafel, hummus, and pita bread, with some couscous or something similar.
I used to over-exercise, too, and I don't recommend it, as it only leads to pain.
A half hour of vigorous exercise, accompanied by a half hour quick-paced walk is sufficient, daily.
...no straight thing was ever made..."
