Hello,

My name is Christie. I have been over weight my whole life. Im 16 (17 in October) and Going into my Senior year of High school.

When I was in Second Grade I got a cut and it got Infected. I was in the hospital for days and had to take Steroids for a while to completely get better. The Steroids killed my Metabolism so over the years I continued to gain weight.

I was torchered through elementary, middle and half of High School. It has left my self esteem as low as my metabolism and I used to deal with that with food which only made me gain more weight. Even my own dad would tell me I was fat and needed to lose weight and nag at me whenever I would eat.

Last month I reached a weight I promised myself I would never reach. 200 pounds. Then I knew it was time for a change. So this is about my Journey to being skinny and beautiful. Im also pre-engaged to my High school sweetheart that I got with my Sophomore year. I dont want to be a fat bride.
