Latest news: there are 3 achievements (as said in the staff anouncement) and the 'converted' counter helps us to see how close we are to the last one.

Achievements:

Magical girl - being a magical girl at least once
Hero - for making 25 converts
Hotblooded hero - For being a Sentai at least once

There was a bug where the Hotblooded Hero wouldn't grant properly (and may have been mutually exclusive with with Magical girl. But it's fixed now.

I think it has to do with how many times you quoted someone or someone else have quoted you. In fact, you bar, as of now, said you've been converted about seven times.

I think it has to do with how many times you quoted someone or someone else have quoted you. In fact, you bar, as of now, said you've been converted about seven times.

I think it counts how many people who's team you've changed. I've got the achievement at zero, but some people have had it grant around 7-10 conversions. So idk. Maybe it's posting in the event forum?

It seems to go up when I convert people, so I think it's more about how many converts you make.
