Technically speaking the Yankees are better than the Red Sox.The New York Yankees have won 27 World Championhips, 40 Pennants, and have made 48 playoff appearances. In comparison the Red Sox have only won 7 World Championships, 12 Pennants, and have made 20 playoff appearances. However, there will always be fans who will blatantly ignore the facts and numbers and claim their team is the "best" based solely on personal opinion.
