Welcome to the Dojo *Bows* I am SacredDemon, a Martial Arts enthusiast and practitioner. Ive been taking a Korean martial art called Kuk Sool Won. My little brother and I are currently Brown/Black belts with 4 black stripes. BLACK BELTS! 2/11/2012

Also a few months ago i joined a place that teaches Kickboxing, MMA Training, and Brazilian Jui Jutsu. Though i've mostly been just going to the kick boxing, i tend to eventually get into B.J.J. to learn ground fighting.

I practice Karate and Japanese Swordsmanship, I am also on our school's Demo Team. I'm a purple belt in Karate and I have been practicing for a year and a half. I really like all the techniques and what I can learn from everything, I find it interesting and fun. surprised

i'm in Tae Kwon Do and I've been practicing for 3 1/2 years now, and I'm a black belt.

Didnt you make a post about your Demo team the other day? Thats cool, ive helped demonstrate at the fair in our town but we dont exactly have a team set up for it.


Today i had a Sparring Class and a Advanced Class.

Yeah, we put on shows that one of our Master Instructors signs us up for, we put up a show for our county fair every year and we also put up little shows at festivals and stuff. This year our leader wants to put us in a lot more fairs and stuff.
Swordsmanship is awesome, I enjoy it a lot. I already practiced with the sword on our Demo Team, but my dad and I just made up most of it and learned stuff from books and the internet, now I can actually learn techniques used with the sword.

One of my friends used to take swords class i think it would be fun. We do a little practice with swords in out martial art, and i practice stuff on my own like you did. I also too a few Fencing lessons which i enjoyed as well.

At our school we practice with the bo staff and single or double sticks mostly when we have extra time. We also have a class, Kobudo weapons, I would like to join that class someday too.

We have classes some times on Staff, Sword, and Nunchucks. But theres other weapons you learn when you get high up there.

Doubles sticks huh? We used this "Stick" that was called a short staff that was interesting to learn some of it.

Weapons class does that too, after you get a certain rank you learn a new weapon. Bo staff, nunchucks, and then sai and kama are in the weapons too.

Short staff? Never worked with something like that.

Its kinda like a Kama with out a blade lol The length is from your hand to elbow.

Sadly i dont think we get to learn Sai's since thats a Japaneses weapon yet i own a pair and been teaching my self, There amazingly good defensive weapons. Kamas are also very fun. Thats cool that you get to learn them.

Huh, we don't have anything like a short staff, it kinda sounds like the sticks, but the sticks are even longer than that.

That's cool, I would like to learn both the sai and the kama, but it seems on our Demo Team who ever gets stuck with learning the kamas complain on them being boring. I think their very cool, our instructor will sometimes show us these awesome moves, I don't know how anyone could hate them.

Kamas are a very Ninja like weapon haha i love them but i got this Competition pair but there crappy and not long enough lol So ill have to get some more later on
