WEEK 2 SIMULATIONS
SEAHAWKS AT STEELERS

Okay... Gonna do something different this week. Since it was hard for me to get to the oh-so-long 2K5 simulations, I'm gonna do them first and get them out of the way. Tecmo Super Bowl only needs 20 minutes. 2K5 needs an hour and a half apparently... If it doesn't freeze up because my disk is s**t... -_-

Started a new project: Steelers Forum

It's just a template so far, but it'll develop quick, Let me know if you want in on it.

Seems cool, but I always have bad luck with new, start-up forums. When I join, they eventually get deserted... See: Lifeforce, HDLS101, Hexhax, Gamerlife...

Yeah I kind of just went out on a limb with this one. My forums are usually deserted too, lol. I'll see if I can draw people in through facebook and what not.

You may have said something about it before, but I've known about it for awhile. Just haven't tried it until recently. I agree, 2K5 is awesome. My disk however? Not awesome... I only payed a buck for it at the local GameStop though so... You get what you pay for?

Seriously... Tried simming the Seahawks/Steelers game 4 times... Each time it crashed. The closest I got was 3 minutes left in the third quarter before it flipped out.

That game was so fun. I don't have it any more, though. My ps3's aren't backwards compatible any way. I thought everything in the game was perfect. Beautiful graphics. Cool game modes. ESPN. Everything.

Well, if you really want to play it again without backwards compatibility, your next bet is APF 2K8 but... Well... Let's just say they didn't put much work into it... It looks nicer and the teams are colorful even without the NFL license, don't get me wrong. However, it feels more flawed than 2K5 was... Ripping everything from the game from game commentary (Same two guys saying the same things over and over and over and over and...) to gameplay. It doesn't feel improved at all. Rather, it feels like an annoying and cheap attempt to squeeze some extra money from old fans.

The rosters do include Jack Lambert though.

Oh how happy I feel today... Last Sunday must of been opposite day, because things went right this week. Steelers shut out the Seahawks, while the Ravens looked more like we did last week on their fight against the Titans.

Yeah, I know... They were easy teams and there isn't much to gloat about for the Steelers, but on the flip side... They were easy teams and the Ravens were picked apart. 3 Turnovers, two being on interceptions, and Flacco supposedly got sacked to hell and back.

That game was close. I like close games.

It was, however, a game that shouldn't of been as close as it was. I don't like that...

Wanna know what else I don't like? The fact that this whole season, I have had NO luck with the internet and my Steelers football... That may have been fixed however, because while I was stranded at my grandparent's place (UNTIL 1 IN THE ******** MORNING!), I was able to fix the fatal (or it would of been if I was there...) flaw the Verizon man made when he installed my grandparent's internet. We now have Wi-Fi again.

Also, to Verizon. Your DSL system is s**t... Seriously... Who uses Static IP anymore to connect? Everyone else is configured for DHCP, but not you! Oh no... Good thing I knew how to reset the Linksys router to configure it because your ******** installation guy somehow ******** up the firmware when he came over!
