Gah, I have to admit I had my fingers crossed Shero was gonna sign him. Unfortunately we won't get to see that though. I guess he couldn't make up his mind aaaaaand instead of informing anyone, he decided to just go missing for about a day and not give any answers. His agents were reportedly embarrassed they didn't have any information and couldn't find him lol. Anyhow Shero pulled back our offer as did Montreal (or was it Detroit.. can't remember).. I imagine they found his flakiness annoying. But ya, it looks like he's gonna be wearing a Flyers jersey this season. Along with Talbot *hangs head* pfff, that one stings a little, I won't lie xD
Would have been nice to see Jagr on the team again, and would have been interesting to see how it would've freed up Staal, but oh well. Good news is Kennedy is signed for another 2 yrs, and it's nice knowing we've got that money in the bank for another player. Shero's a genius so, as I'm sure you all are, I'm exited to see what he does next.
Any chance anyone has hear any news on Malkins recovery lately? I worry about him to an unhealthy degree I think! xD

Agreed! xD I like to think of hockey as soccers awesomely wicked cousin xD Take soccer players, put em on ice, strap razorblades to their feet, give em sticks to skate around n shove with , and tell em it's all good and fair if someone gets punched in the face lol. Not to mention instead of an inflatable ball, its a small, heavy puck that just might travel towards your head at about 90 mph! Now that's what I call badass! xD

Jagrs a b*****d. He knew all of the reports made it seem like he was going to Pittsburgh. Im glad shero pulled the offer now. I was so excited for him to come back and make things right. I think hes mentally ill and suffers from bipolar disorder or somthing. Im gonna boo the s**t out of him when he comes to consol as im sure almost everyone else there will. Talbot on the other hand i ihate that he went to the flyers but im glad he got what is probably his last big payday in the NHL. I wish him well and expect the pens to have a thank you talbot video ready for him and a jagr sucks one as well.

Well said! He could seriously make use of some pysch meds to get that girlish attitude of his in check lol. I say good luck without Richards and Carter Philly, Jagr is at the end of his game and imo isn't worth that 3.whatever mil you offered. Not to mention what a high maintenance player he is.. requiring a constant pat on the back and spoonfed attention like a spoiled little girl. *sigh* Good riddance.

Anyhow, haven't seen any official Pens tribute vids for Max yet, but this one a fan put together really pulled at some heart strings. ******** eh.. I'm nowhere near ready to see him in that orange jersey. You make a good point though, he really does deserves the payday, and I'm happy to see him get it. We all know his heart will always be in Pgh smile

I think talbots video will deff have his game 7 winning goals in it. Im excited for this season to go underway! I want another defenseman though to compete with niskanen,lovejoy,engo. And maybe a cheap winger "comrie like"
