Update: I still pick the Ravens over the Steelers, since Polamalu is out yet again, Ben has a concussion and sources are conflicting on whether or not he'll play.
With those two out, and Batch gone due to wrist surgery, I expect the rookie to get his a** blitzed to a large degree.
If Ben plays, they'll be in the game, but I don't think they will win.
If Ben is out? Flacco and co. are going to have a long day and wear the Steelers defense out.

Iron Curtain? Pittsburgh isn't in the Soviet Union last I checked, it's the STEEL Curtain.

Yeah, man, I'm totally ready for the San Diego - New England.
Gotta win this game and start our road to the #1 seed again.

Hmm, should be an exciting and interesting game.
We should put a safety (Weddle) on Moss with Jammer, that should neutralize him at least some. I believe our front four will be much better than what the Jets.

Hopefully the pats won't cheat against us, lol.

what happens to all the 19-0 t-shirts, the book, and all the rest?

I think The D-line deserved the MVP trophy.

This time I have no problem with Shula and co. popping the cork. No problem at all

Breaks out mustard in case a meal of crow is to be served....

Just found out Freeney didn't go to Houston. That changes things. As the most dominant man on the Colts D, and as close as their games have been, missing Freeney can be a lethal blow.
I think we may see an actual upset of the Colts tomorrow folks.
As a matter of fact, I'll wage 5,000 Gaia Gold on that to the first person to post they want the wager.

The Miami Dolphins continue to be the most embarrassing franchise in the history of the NFL.

Its time to fire Bill Parcells and Tony Sparano. They suck. talk2hand

Ricky Williams is and will always be a Junkie. Go back to Canada.

Never doubt the colts ability to win with or without the weapons.

Good football weekend so far. Atlanta over Tampa, got that one. I was surprised Redman did such a good job. Yes, it was a last second win, but a win is a win, yes?

Miami vs. Buffalo. I should have remembered fish freeze quickly. Missed that one.

Eagles managed to win. Although I did say they would, I wish they would have lost.

Stevie Wonder won. The 'Hawks finished the Rams.

The evil Delhomme showed up. Time to trade up. Maybe a Yugo? Missed that one.

Cincy. Was anyone surprised? I am only surprised it wasn't a blow out.

Indy vs. Houston. Already admitted I got that one wrong. Only surprised no one took me up on my wager. It would have been an easy 5k.

Kansas vs. the Chargers? Who was surprised? Hopefully no one.

Jags. Damn the Jags. Ah well. Frisco stepped up.

Chicago vs. Minnesota. Anyone suprised by this one either? Come on, it was a no brainer.

Titans vs. Cardinals. Warner gets his bell rung, and Lienhart can't pull the win out. Not a good week for me.

Two games to go. Currently, six of eleven. I'll need the other two to remain moderately respectable, I believe.

So what's better than signing Chris McAlister? Signing Mike McKenzie heart heart heart heart I have three autographed pictures from him and I took a picture with him. The bad thing is we had to sign these veterans because of injuries (4 CBs are injured and one just got put on IR). Good thing is they're smart veterans who'll hopefully pick up the playbook and schemes quickly and we'll have a pair of fresh corners for the home stretch of the season.

Oh yeah. Pats are good team. Good luck on Monday evil

You just had to throw that in at the end.. stare

Raven's take the Steelers down. Hard fought game, and Dixon didn't learn from the near interceptions at the end of regular play.
Solid play by both teams, despite those that say contrary. If Dixon can learn to control the passing game, he can be a legitimate threat at quarterback. Otherwise, he should have been turned into a receiver.

Truthfully, Turkey day games didn't surprise me. Green Bay over Detroit wasn't a stunner. More amazed that the Lions scored double digits. Dallas over Oakland? Again, shouldn't surprise anyone. As for the Giants and Bronco's, I'd have picked the Bronco's, simply because the Giants can't seem to find their a** with both hands lately. They beat the Falcons. Good team, and well earned victory, but I need more consistency than that.
Okay, this weeks games? Below are my picks. Laugh if you want.

Atlanta vs. Tampa: Going to have to pick the Falcons. They know they need to win to stay in the hunt. And I believe they are that much better than this time last year. Ryan needs to calm down a bit more in the pocket, and they should be fine.

Miami vs. Buffalo: Dolphins for the win. Nearly a no brainer.

Washington vs. Phillie: I want the 'Skins to win, (I'd pick anyone over the Eagles) but reality? I expect the Eagles to take the win over the 'Skins. the 'Skins still aren't hungry enough.

Seattle vs. St. Louis: Ah. This game is pretty much like watching Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles box. It's gonna be ugly and come down to the lucky punch.
I think Seattle gets lucky.

Carolina vs. Jets: Better call the crash crew. The Jets continue their decline into oblivion and the Panthers continue their climb toward respect.

Cleveland vs. Cincinatti: Coming to the belief that the Bengals are pretenders, not contenders. But against the Browns? They'll look like contenders as they rip into the dawgs.

Indy vs. Houston: No brainer. Houston is good. But not that good. They go down for the count.

Kansas vs. San Diego: Don't expect another major upset. Watch the Chiefs get the chair and electrocuted. It should be ugly. Unless it's your local team, I'd be surprised if they show the third quarter. I expect a blow out.

Jax vs. SF: Jags for the win. They're doing good now in the later part of the season. I see no reason they shouldn't continue to do so. Frisco is still a year or so away from being a major contender, but they're making definite progress.

Chicago vs. Minnesota: The Bears are going to get mauled. May be a good idea to have Cutler bring a pillow to lay his head on, as I expect him to spend a good deal of time on the ground looking up. Should be ugly. Again, I'd be surprised if they show the fourth quarter.

Arizone vs. Tennessee: This should be interesting. Both are solid teams. Gonna give it to Mr. Warner and co, however. It should be a good game, but I just think that the Card's are a bit better.

Pittsburgh vs. the Ravens: I'm gonna never hear the end of this. I am actually going for the Ravens over the Steelers. They just seem to have lost their heart. This is, obviously, my upset of the week. And, if I'm right, I expect the Steelers to further implode.

Pat's vs. Saints: This is going to be a gunfight. Drew vs. Tom. Gonna have to give it to the Saints. There defense is better, to be blunt, and that is what is going to win this games.

I'm sure a good many of you will agree or disagree, but that is how I see the picks this week. It is getting down to crunch time, and every loss from here on out can end post season hopes for one team while starting them for another. Let's see what happens.
