I know that Elite XC went under in October of last year. And what I said wouldn't mean that Shields is fighting for a title, there have been tons of fights against champs which have not been for titles, look at Ricardo Arona and how many times he's fought champs not for titles in Pride. I simply couldn't remember Shields name at the time and said the Welterweight champion since they were both from the same organization being the defunct EliteXC. Like I really don't see where you're going with this.

Pankration is the first form of MMA, the next thing was Jiu Jutsu and then JKD. Pankration was and is the real form, JKD is only known because a movie star made it.
