LESNAR CHOKES OUT CARWIN! Holy cow! Lesnar revealed a huge weakness that Carwin has. Absolutely no cardio. If you can intelligently defend yourself through the first round, Carwin is done. But Carwin also showed that Brock can't take a punch. Once he clipped him once he turtled up and abandoned all offense. But Brock survived the ground and pound and actually submitted someone. I have to say I'm impressed. Great win by Lesnar.

Yeah I am supprised by how much lesnar has developed. I was a fan of him as a kid when he was a pro wrestler so I'm happy to see him doing well. I was realy suprised by the fact he took all of those hits and was less groggy then carwin at the start of the second round.
here comes the pain. brocks an animal

Am I the only one who thinks the Leben Akiyama fight was one of the best fights I've seen in a while?

Back and forth, Both showed great chins and iron will.
I loved it.
I jumped up and went CRAZY when Leben submitted Akiyama.

Great Fight, I think we will see Akiyama again though.... His Judo is great.

Akiyama played right into Leben's style, though. Leben is going to win those knock-down drag-outs more times than not. He should have taken him down more often instead of trying to trade shots standing up.

Agreed, Especially from just the little bits we saw Akiyamas Judo looked pretty good.
And you would think he would of known Leben loves to stand and bang though.

Bonnar really needed that win. You can tell his leash is getting short.

Definitely ... though even if he lost ... he would have probably stayed in the UFC ...

I don't think that's a set deal anymore. He's struggling in the middle of the division. He's been in the UFC for a while, a few more losing streaks and I think Dana White might pull the plug.

I don't know ... if it weren't for him and Forrest ... the UFC wouldn't be where it would be right now ...
What do you guys think of the UFC 117 match up between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen ...
