If lesnar got someone to giveup their back I dont think he would even look for a rear naked cholk...Thats why Carwin can beat lesnar because Carwin can standup without being too worried about getting cought in a submission

He won't need to worry about a choke ... he'll need to worry about that concrete brick that Lesnar calls a hand ...

...Carwin has bigger hands than Lesnar.

size aside ... it still pretty much a concrete brick ...

Yeah, but Carwin's got better hands than Lesnar, better BJJ than Lesnar, and as good of a wrestler as Lesnar is, Carwin's a Division II National Champion AND a 2 time national runner up.

striking wise I would say their even ... same with wrestling ... and when was the last time Carwin even tried to submit someone ... their fight will basically be two wrestlers striking with each other ... either way it won't last long ...

Carwin's got the best Boxing coach in the country coaching him, so I'ma give the striking to Carwin. Wrestling-wise, yeah, they're about even. But about the submissions...

Carwin is 12-0, with 7 wins coming by KO/TKO, and 5 of his wins coming from submissions.

So he submitted a bunch of nobodies ... does that automatically mean he is going to lock in a submission on Lesnar ... as for Trevor Wittman ... he's a good striking coach ... same with Greg Jackson ... but Greg Nelson is that bad as a striking coach either ...

They've both got great coaching, and they're both great fighters. It'll be a fun match to watch hopefully...

...That is, if Lesnar loses! Lol jk.

But that's basically almost the same gameplan of Carwin ... if not that ... then he's going to keep the fight standing ... and try to land one of those bombs that he is known for ...

Looking at some of the match-ups the UFC will be putting on in the heavyweight division ... I has just dawned on me how truly stacked the heavyweight division is ... beside the obvious contenders (Carwin, Valasquez, dos Santos) ... you still got the old cats in there (Big Nog, Gonzaga, Cro Cop) ... but then there some ture up-incomers who if the win their next fight will no doubt be in the mix: Pat Barry (he'll be fighting Cro Cop), Roy Nelson (just defeated Stefan Struve), Ben Rothwell (next fight against Gilbert Yvel), Todd Duffee ... the UFC Heavyweight division is full of sharks ... no wonder Fedr doesn't want in ...
So I pretty much seen Florian Dominating Gomi but seriously Why did people thing Gomi had such a good chance???UFC is a whole other leauge and when people come in its like someone from college going to the NFL things usually come togeather for them down the stretch but its such a step up in competition you cant just throw them at a top 5 guy in any weight class they have to take baby steps...Of course this isnt true for people like Hendo and Rampage...But even Wandy and Shogun had a hard time adjusting to the step up in compatition...
Also Who do you think wins Joe Rogan nut hugger trophy this week...Id say its a toss up between Florian Buintello and Nelson....I dont think joe realizes its okay to be critical of your favorite fighters...BTW Tebau needs a challange...Id say Guida or tyson griffon or....Nate...Or Melvin gullard...Wow I just realized LW is stackked...It just dont seem that way because BJ PWNs all

Wandy was an undersize LHW and Shogun had injuries and ring rust ... once they got acclomated they did fine ... Gomi being the last Pride LW champ ... should be fine hanging with the likes of Florian or any other contender ... I believe Florian came with the right gameplan ... and executed it ... he shut down Gomi's strengths and played to his own ... Gomi should be able to come back from this ...

Right Wandys size wasnt as important agenst lesser comp and the "Octagon Gitters" happens to everyone because of the level of competition Now Gomi realizes hes in the big leauges and has to train like an animal to be in the race
