Im sorry, but I dont think Alves is going to upset. GSP's technique and groundwork will get the better of Alves.
Sure, Alves - Hughes was damn impressive. I was riding on Hughes to demolish him as well. But GSP is at his peak to the point that Dana want's a GSP - A. Silva match because there's seriously no one that can stand up to these two.
And GSP - Penn round 3?
Yes please.

so who has 20000g to spend on an mma guild???

I don't think Alves will get a win, and if he does it'll be the kind of upset decision that will anger fans.
Alves is a strong striker, but isn't one to win on the ground. He managed to avoid getting tangled up and beaten by an aging Matt Hughes when he fought him...but if Alves couldn't put Koscheck away in 3 rounds without it going to decision, I don't think he has what it takes to beat St. Pierre. GSP is in his prime right now, and I don't think Alves will take him down. GSP has too well rounded talents to be dominated in one way or another.

Besides that...to call this the main event and not refer to the Lesnar-Mir rematch as the main event is ludicrous. This fight will be insane, with each of these guys looking to make a huge statement in their fight. Lesnar beating Mir (which I expect to happen) will cement him as the beast of that weight class, while Mir wants to prove he is the champ by beating Lesnar a second time.
I'm putting my money on Lesnar. His standup is phenomenal for someone with a background in wrestling, and we really haven't seen at all what kind of training he's been doing in the ground game. The Couture fight stayed in striking, and it's been 8 months since that fight...who knows what he ground game is going to be like if Mir tries to go for another submission win.

As far as Henderson and Bisping? No idea on that one. I like watching Bisping fight a lot, and I remember him having the best technique of TUF 3, but Henderson sure as hell is no joke. It'll be a good fight.

But look at Alves v Koscheck and GSP v Koscheck. Koscheck was getting his a** kicked by Alves. It was more of a positioning battle when it was GSP ... it will be interesting though ...
Koschek took the fight on short notice and lost to someone who kept the fight in their game and couldn't even finish him. Go watch Lytle vs. Alves and tell me how good his standup is.

Gray Maynard below Frankie Edgar, Gray beat Frankie already and should be placed ahead of Frankie.

But Edgar beat Sherk ... I think beating the former title holder puts you ahead ...

That was early in Alves's UFC run ... he has changed since then ...

Not really. Alves is a striker to the core when you get down to it, very very much a Muay Thai fighter. Put him against St. Pierre, who is in his prime and is probably the most well-rounded and technical of all the UFC fighters, and I don't think Alves will win this fight. It's not like Hughes (Who relies 95% on his ground game to win) where he can keep the fight in striking where his opponant is weak.
Georges fought Koschek at what Koschek is best at and that is wrestling. Georges wrestled Koschek with no high school or collegiate wrestling and won in dominating fashion. Alves struck with a Koschek that stood in front of him and couldn't put him away. Georges should be able to put away Alves late in the fight by TKO or get an early submission.
I would be surprised by an early submission. That's what Hughes specializes in, and he wasn't able to forces Alves into a grappling context. While St. Pierre is younger and in better shape than Hughes I don't think he'll turn the fight into a dominating ground match.
Georges is still a much better wrestler than Matt is; obviously if he was in the Olympic trials, and has a black belt in BJJ. I would say his grappling is now at the point where it is much better than Matt Hughes.
So who do you have winning the other main card fights?
Fitch > Thiago
Akiyama > Belcher
I can't wait to watch UFC 100 tonight =D. There should be some great fights.

Why, so BJ can d**k around when he's supposed to be training again, and try to win on pure talent alone, get his a** kicked, and have to scramble for another excuse as to why he lost? I think he needs to just stay at lightweight and forget about the welterweight division.

St. Pierre is also for some reason, a freak of nature who never had formal experience wrestling and yet has not only stuffed takedown attempts by some of the best wrestlers in his weight class/the entire UFC, (hughes, koscheck, fitch), but he was taking them down at will.

Alves definitely isn't a slouch. Even GSP says he's one of the toughest opponents he's gone up against. But I still see GSP winning. I'd say he wins by decision though. I don't see him KOing or subbing Alves.

On a side note, I never realized that Alves was so tall. I think all the muscle mass made him look shorter to me, but he's like 6'0 apparently. He's definitely a ******** specimen.
