I wonder, if I am the only one, who thinks that Alves will upset GSP in the main event at UFC 100.

I would believe so as Mir and Lesnar is the main event. Alves has a good shot at winning this though and I do not put it past him getting an early stoppage.
Im really looking forward to the mir and Lesnar fight...Either Lesnar will manhandle Mir and get a TKO or Mir will find a way to survive and tap out lesnar...But most likly not with an armbar or triangle....Mir's standup did impress me with his fight with Nog but Lesnars power makes it hard to standup with him...I really want to see what lesnar does if he gets in the mui thai clinch...
Lesnar I think would feel comfortable in the clinch, it's been close to seven months since he fought Randy and was shown that he did not have a lot of clinch work training. I am sure that they noticed this and made changes and trained him for this extensively, though I do not think Mir can control him in the clinch like Randy did.
This fight is going to be interesting ... due to the fact that we are not sure where it will take place. Will it be a ground fight ... the classic wrestling v BJJ or will Lesnar and Mir stand with each other ...
Go to ufc.com they updated it for ufc 100
It's less than a week away

I cant wait. xd

I disagree. They are Co-Main Events. Much as Forrest - Evans was Co Main Event with Nog and Mir at Ultimate '08 last December

On a side note, besides the fact that Alves can't seem to make weight against anyone. . . I think he'll give GSP a run for his money. Just look at Alves - Kosi and compare that to GSP - Kosi.

Alves is a big strong guy for a welterweight. He manhandled Parysian, Hughes, and Koschek. Sure there is the weight issue, but I don't think Alves is going to pull a Lutter ... he wants that belt ... we will all have to see what will happen ...

But GSP is also big as a welterweight ... I believe that GSP's technique will carry him to a win ...

Gray Maynard below Frankie Edgar, Gray beat Frankie already and should be placed ahead of Frankie.

I wonder, if I am the only one, who thinks that Alves will upset GSP in the main event at UFC 100.

actually I know quite a few ppl who believe that too. My bro is one of them.
I don't think Alves will get a win, and if he does it'll be the kind of upset decision that will anger fans.
Alves is a strong striker, but isn't one to win on the ground. He managed to avoid getting tangled up and beaten by an aging Matt Hughes when he fought him...but if Alves couldn't put Koscheck away in 3 rounds without it going to decision, I don't think he has what it takes to beat St. Pierre. GSP is in his prime right now, and I don't think Alves will take him down. GSP has too well rounded talents to be dominated in one way or another.

Besides that...to call this the main event and not refer to the Lesnar-Mir rematch as the main event is ludicrous. This fight will be insane, with each of these guys looking to make a huge statement in their fight. Lesnar beating Mir (which I expect to happen) will cement him as the beast of that weight class, while Mir wants to prove he is the champ by beating Lesnar a second time.
I'm putting my money on Lesnar. His standup is phenomenal for someone with a background in wrestling, and we really haven't seen at all what kind of training he's been doing in the ground game. The Couture fight stayed in striking, and it's been 8 months since that fight...who knows what he ground game is going to be like if Mir tries to go for another submission win.

As far as Henderson and Bisping? No idea on that one. I like watching Bisping fight a lot, and I remember him having the best technique of TUF 3, but Henderson sure as hell is no joke. It'll be a good fight.
