have you ever been to a match and watched them fight?
When UFC came to Chicago I was there at Allstate arena but it was not worth the money at all. At least not with that card. Most of the fights ended with decission and It when Anderson Silva fought Patrick Cote the fight ended with Patrick Cote spraning his ankle or somthing.....yea definitly not woth the money i spent on it. I actually went to an amature fight and saw a lot better fights there but thats also cuz these guys were not at the professional level so there were a lot of amature mistakes wich make for great knockouts and submissions.
And wow i didn't know there were a lot of mma fighters here.
You mean the same fight that had Sean Sherk v. Tyson Griffin in that stand up war, the same one that had Dos Santos protect Nogueira from Werdum, the same one that had Alves embarrass Koschek and the same one where Silva kicked out Cote's ACL? That was a pretty good set of fights to me. The fights in the UK, 89 and 95 have not been very good at all.
The Sean Sherk fight was a stand up war but all the undercard card fights were just like that so watching it wasn't that fun for me. Second I thought that Koschek did a pretty good job aginest Alves but he did deserve the loss. And i don't think it was Silva's kick that tore Cote's ACL I thought it was more Cote's training for the fight or somthing. Anderson was more toying with him the whole fight which was actually pretty amusing but i don't think he did any real damage to Cote.
I just don't like fights being ended in decision but if both fighters give it there all i don't mind. A lot of the undercard fights went to decision and they always had to rush the next fighters in line to the octagon. But yea i guess its just my opinion but $600 for a decient seat for that card was not worth it for me.
