Realistically, I believe the winner of Bisping/Henderson should get first crack at Silva, then I would have Okami and Marquardt fight, and whom ever win that fight, is next. Then after that Demian Maia can have his go. Beyond that, that I don't think anyone else in the middleweight division of the UFC has shown that they have the skills or the ability to take on "the Spider." Unless they like Zuffa buys Strikeforce and put Cung Le in the octagon.

I saw that the Vegas lines have Henderson at -420 over Bisping's +280. I guess a lot of people think that Bisping isn't going to try and run around and get a decision again.

Bisping is going up against an opponent well, is a horrible match-up for him. He has stated in the past that he doesn't like wrestlers. However he can do exactly Rampage did, and make Henderson abandon the wrestling and stand with him. But who really knows what the game plan is.

But Jake Shields and Robbie Lawler aren't champions anymore. They were the last champions true, but basically Shields is moving up to test those waters, while Lawler is just his opponent

The role of a champion is to defend his belt and do enough to retain his belt at the end of the day. Nowhere in Anderson's contract does it say:

"You must go out there and knockout everyone and put yourself in harms way to entertain the crowd."

That is simply the promotion of human cockfighting. Anderson did exactly what he has to do, win the fight, he didn't need to punish Leites to do that, just pitter patter shots which allowed him to win by points. Expect more of the same unless he gets put into the position where his belt is actually in danger, such as the match against Nate Marquardt or the winner of Henderson and Bisping, where he'll be in far greater danger fighting Dan.

So basically if Leites hit Anderson a few times and ran away from him, refusing to engage him where he thought he might be in trouble, and he won on points he deserved to win the title?

No, it doesn't. It promotes the idea that a champion should actually be fighting to defend his belt. Since you know, they are fighters.

It is up to a fighter to engage. If they don't, don't b***h about it.

But a fight I'm looking foward to is Diego Sanchez v Clay Guida. That has the makings of fight of the year. It will be like the Ultimat Fight 6 Finale. Can't wait.

That is an awesome fight and I am totally stoked for that one. Guida had Huerta in the bag. I could see Guida giving Florian a better run for his money.

Well Guida is a wrestler with very good cardio and striking. A very good combination when it come to MMA
