Welcome to Gaia! ::

I love the football players at UA. I am always cheering them on if I see them while I visit the campus on weekends.

As for a playoff system, as much of a good idea as it is, players have finals as well. I know a lot of people say who cares, but, if they want to pass and continue playing, they have to take them. That or they could extend it like they do for the NFL. Still, many say December, I disagree to that. January is much better.

As much as I hate to start an argument with an Auburn fan, you guys barely beat Virginia Tech, and USC was absolutely lights-out in that National Championship game. Auburn would have lost big, but it wouldn't have been a total laugher like it was against Oklahoma.

And the BCS does suck. We need a playoff system.
Yea, but im over all that now, but VT, im glad we played them when we did, they look awesome in the ACC this season, I have them winning it out and making a return trip to the Sugar Bowl @ Atlanta... xd

I was worried about Auburn after GT beat them....then VT smoked them. Seems they are getting back into step. Arkansas should be no problem either. But, its college football, anything goes.
Doing my scouting report, Arkansas has nothing. In stats, they rank at the lower part in most categories, plus they lost to Vanderbilt! I mean, come on... only think i dont like, its not televised, so i have to listen to the play by play by Rod Bramblett... biggrin
Vanderbilt's a bowl team. =/ I don't think losing to them is that big of a deal. Arkansas does indeed suck though.
Did you see them against LSU? They had them for three quarters, then just got tired and gave up all those points in the 4th.

There would be a playoff system in place if the presidents of the schools werent concerned about one thing... money... stare

Hey, only thing keeping me here is the loans and the sports, lol
My parents paid for my tuition, I paid for housing, food, and fun. I gave them my first paycheck of 3500 as a gift to them for helping me get through. They didn't accept it and said that graduating with honors was a good enough reward for them.

God, I love my parents

My parents pay things like cell phone bill, internet bill, and so forth... they help me out as well... anyway, im off to bed, its about 2 am here and i got my one class tommorrow, lol, take care man and come back when ever! just post something and ill post ASAP biggrin
Right on, man. Get that degree, it is WORTH IT!
FSU is going all the way. If not this year then in the next two years they will win a championship. USC will either play the Longhorns or the Hokies and i would put my money on the Hokies bc of their defense.
Hokies still have to play Miami, Boston College, and Virgina. Texas, on the other hand, has a free ride until the Big 12 championship, minus Texas Tech. FSU has a creampuff schedule all the way up to Florida. Wouldn't be surprised if they went undefeated, but that win over Miami at the beginning of the year really didn't impress me at all. I wanna see Notre Dame play Florida State in the Sugar Bowl again. That would be nice (assuming Notre Dame wins out or just losses to USC, preferably beats USC, of course).
Notre Dame-Florida State would be an interesting match-up, for if USC wasn't so stacked on offense I would go with N.D. and watch a mutch storied program finally flourish under one of the best coaches in college football (doesn't matter if it is his first year.)
SEC, definatly. We have some fairly intense rivalries down south (esp. Auburn and Bama). Now, i'll go for auburn in just about any game they play, but ROOOOLLLL TIIIIIDE in the AUB-BAMA game and in every other one bama is in.

Im just amazed on how quickly he's done it with same group of people that was there before. He really got them to use there talents effectively. Definately a coach of the year candidate... 3nodding
