I have played softball ever since I was 7, and now I am 20...so I have been playing this sport a looong time. For running the bases, go like in a question mark around first base if you can go to 2nd base. I haven't played CF before, but how I learned it is that you are in control of the outfield. Batting, all you have to do is keep a nice stance. Don't have your feet too far apart or else you won't have much power in the hit. For sliding, make a figure 4 when you do slide. Make sure you keep your foot level, or else you will break it or sprain it really bad. Catcher was my position. It really depends on the level of softball that you are doing. Are you in fastpitch or slowpitch?
