I personally dont skateboard, but I think its pretty sweet. Im just impressed and at the moment obsessed with watching videos on youtube of skateboarders kickinass.

Side note.. Why are there almost no female skateboarders? Balls necessary to roll on a peice of wood?

I don't know why there aren't as many female skateboarders. I love to skate, but my talents end at cruising, which I've gotten pretty good at. =] I need to learn how to ollie. So hard. T^T

I don't skate because I would fall off and break my face. I don't even have the balance for standing on it, let alone tricks.

I could never make it more than a few feet on a skateboard without losing my balance and falling off. I enjoy watching other people skate, though. I admire the amount of skill and balance it takes to be able to pull off some of the tricks that they do.

It's just super cool to watch; and it takes a lot of practice to get that good.. so it's nice watching people who are good at it.
I go long boarding; it's super fun and a great way to get around in the summer I don't do any of that hardcore 100km/h going down mountain junk haha.. I just use it as my main mode of transportation!

I used to try to skateboard, but I didnt like it. I thought it was totally stupid. And unless you do tricks and stuff on ramps, i never got how it was more physically fit than a bike.

I like watching it, some of the stuff people do is crazy. I could never do tricks, hahah, even an ollie would be too difficult. I tried riding one when I was little, my balance was s**t on it and I gave-up. But I've been curious the past year or two, wanted to give it a try now that I'm older, have better balance, and better-coordinated. I considered trying long boards first, I knew a guy who had one, I figured a longer board would be easier for footing..Never tried it, since I stopped talking to the a**-hole..Meh. I'd rather use someone else's board than buy one, they're pricey for something I might not even like or be good at, hahah.
