Pix- will bump in thread when I can.

News on the job: I'm hired! I've given notice at my other job as well, and it was very satisfying. Also, I'll know in 2-3 weeks weather or not I'm accepted at this University in London for the fall semester.

No derby related news as of now. Except that I've finally acquired some outdoor wheels.

Woohoo, congrats on the new job, I hope it goes well! When is your first day? Do you get to drink all the free coffee you want on the job? My fav drink at Starbucks is the Matcha Green Tea Frappaccino, but they only have those in Japan. cat_gonk

As for derby, today we have a big event planned for the Paris Rollergirls! We invited skaters from other neighboring leagues to come scrimmage with us and have a free boot camp, then we playa bout between our two home teams! Its a derby-filled day!! Speaking of which, Id better go get dressed and ready - they need help tracing the track early! Off I goooo!

The Paris Rollergirls' 2-year "Derbyversary" event went GREAT yesterday!!!

We invited several neighboring leagues for a mixed scrimmage in the morning, and in the afternoon we had our very first official home team bout. It was super-fun, and best of all, I got to skate for hours and hours!! Made me all nostalgic for the skating rinks back home in the States.
