What do you think about the new Miami Heat team (Wade, Lebron, Bosh)?

Awesome! They're going to win multiple championships! 0.32846715328467 32.8% [ 45 ]
Good, but not enough to compete with the Lakers. 0.29197080291971 29.2% [ 40 ]
Terrible. You are a sell-out, Lebron. 0.37956204379562 38.0% [ 52 ]

anyone on the Suns because Nash is giving a lot of players some career high numbers

Edit: How about Joe Johnson? Even though hes on a pretty bad team, he's still puttin some major numbers. Maybe Smush Parker if he finishes strong
smush? nah. although, he really did improve. he was virtually a noone.
I love LeBron James from the Cavs. Him and Zydrunas Ilgauskas are really good. They are my fav. players and cavaliers are my fav. team mrgreen
yeah i agree that the suns style of play and nash being the distributor does inflate stats for any suns player but consider the fact that Diaw has also been playing out of position moving from the SG to C from time to time and sometimes even as a point forward....he has excellent ball handling and IQ for a player his size so other than his consistently improved stats I would also say that the fact that he is able to move from position to position with not much trouble also makes him a step above other notable candidates for MIP
Most improved? Lets see...

1.) David West - Came out of nowhere. One of the main contributors to the team. He's the real reason the Hornets are doing good. He's improved so much and with Chris Paul distributing him the ball, he's even better. He's improved his shot and put consistant numbers.

2.) Borris Diaw - Who knew this kid was going to be that good. Everyone thought that Joe Johnson trade was horrible for the Suns, but it wasn't that bad. Diaw is tall and athletic, can play 3, 4, and 5. Just a great pick-up for the Suns and has shown improvement because of Steve Nash.

3.) Smush Parker - A good PG. Can take it to the rim, and can shoot the 3. Plays mediocre defense against other guards, but he's argurably the third choice player on the team. Just the right guard for the Lakers. I don't think when he came to the Lakers, people thought he would be this good. A good replacement for Chucky Atkins indeed.

Those three are my top choices. Some other players I'd toss in the pool would be: Dwight Howard, Raja Bell, Kevin Martin, DeSagana Diop annnnd that's all I can think of right now.

Who do you guys think will win Most Improved Player Award? in my opion i think Kevin Martin of SAC "CAN" win it. He exploded with some 20+pts when Bonzi Wells was injured and since then hes been moved to the Starting Lineup! Also another player from SAC, Kenny Thomas, hes just as versatile, fast, and can score juat as well as Shareef ever can. He also took his starting lineup job as well.
sorry man but i dont think either of them will win the MIP award..personally i think boris diaw will win it...he's more versatile than kevin martin or kenny thomas...hell i think he is both of them combined....except for thomas' monstrous rebounding games ...anyways if you think im wrong than please tell me why Diaw wont make it xd
Hmmm i haven't really been following Boris Diaw, but i have heard he really has imporved by getting like 2 triple doubles this year. and the team who had him before, just tooo bad for them. But on the other hand if he was still on that team, i dont think he wouldd've improved. What team was he on before?
He used to play on the Atlanta Hawks. The difference is, he played as a SG on that team rather than a F or C. I think the deal will do both teams good. The Hawks are still a young team.

coming into the season who would play PG was a huge concern for the lakers. smush has fit nicely into that picture. if it wasn't for him, the lakers might not be in the playoffs.

so, the lakers play sac tonight.

funny, those two. battling it out for either the 7th or 8th seed, when really they are both just picking who they are going to lose to-the spurs or the suns.

awww, i love me lakers. lol.
Lakers aren't officially in the playoffs yet. Although I live in LA, and my family are Laker fans, I want them knocked off . I want to see the Hornets in the playoff. I don't mind if the Lakers are in the playoffs, just as long as Hornets make it too. I think the Lakers are almost the same as last year's Lakers, just better defense. Last season's and this season's records are almost identical. Bah.

LeBron is a bit overrated...he does extremely well in the first three quarters, but sometimes jus collapses in he 4th. Sometimes he does do good, but I'd like to see him take more clutch shots jus to see what hes made of...if you pass it up to a teamate and they make it, congrats, awesome play...but if they miss it...wow were you stupid to give it up..you're LEBRON THE KING!! take the shot
Nahhh. Just because hes a SUPERSTAR or KING JAMES doesn't mean you HAVE to take THE SHOT because most of the time, when it comes down to crunch time, they double or even triple team! the star and what LeBron does well is he can PASS OUT OF the double team to an open player. It also shows how much trust he puts into his team mates! Kindof reminds me of the John Paxson shot that he took, instead of Michael Jordan to win the Championship, . Same Idea

that's true, but i'm still dissapointed in the fact how he sometimes crashes in the 4th quarter..I mean last month he was being booed by his home crowd cuz he couldn't knock down free throws and he missed 8 shots in the 4th. Cleveland has a tendency to slip up against teams in the second half, mainly the 4th quarter..I think that's what mainly seperates them from teams like Dallas, Miami, Detroit, and San Antonio..the ability to hold onto a lead.
Naw I want Sacramento Kings to go again they are my favorite team and I want them to become the 6th or 5th seed.
I dont think Miami can HOLD a lead, cuz ive seen like 3-6 Miami games where they trail most of the game, then in the 4th quarter they start making a run and end up winning the game. With all of these players on their team i expect more out of them.

sometimes teams with too many studs (Shaq, Mourning, Wade, Walker, Payton) become too much for the team...example..The Knicks...but meh..Detroit wouldn't be that good if they had an injury. They jus lucky unlike the Mavs, Spurs, Heat, and so on
