What do you think about the new Miami Heat team (Wade, Lebron, Bosh)?

Awesome! They're going to win multiple championships! 0.32846715328467 32.8% [ 45 ]
Good, but not enough to compete with the Lakers. 0.29197080291971 29.2% [ 40 ]
Terrible. You are a sell-out, Lebron. 0.37956204379562 38.0% [ 52 ]

Yeah. Nets did a great job. They got lucky with Marcus Williams dropping, but he'll do good, especially as Kidd teaches him some things. I thought Boone was okay. He isn't reliable in the crunch time, at least what I've seen last year in the NCAA game.
So yeah i got todays Sports section in the L.A. Times newspaper and caught up with all this NBA Draft mania. Lakers got some guy from UCLA and some guy from Spain.

By the way, check out NBA's free agents list. 3nodding

-Ben Wallace is up for grabs, but i'm sure Detroit will definitely re-sign him.
-Gary Payton is available and his old team, The Sonics, are looking for a veteran to join.
-Alonzo Mourning is also free. H should retire in my opinion.

The whole KG and AI stuff is also located in there somewhere. neutral
Oh, here it is. It's on the team overviews section of the NBA site:

Quote:
"It remains highly unlikely that Minnesota will trade Garnett. The Timberwolves are said to be looking to move their No. 6 draft pick for a veteran to complement Garnett, though it's hard to imagine they could get someone significant at that level in this draft."

I could have sworn Shindoku^-^ mention that Garnett wants out. Besides i said it a million times, he's hungry. 3nodding

Quote:
"If you trade Iverson, you have to find a team that really wants him and will give you back what you really want and need. Is there any team out there like that? They might get back a solid starter or two plus draft picks."

My exact thoughts. That's why i said Kobe for Allen earlier in this thread. of course, a lot of L.A. fans disagree, we don't want Kobe to leave. he's a franchise player damn it. neutral
Yeah, I read the Sports page. I don't remember seeing any KG or AI (except that the Celtics might be trying to get him) stuff. Jordan Farmar from UCLA. I think it's a good pick, but knowing Phil Jackson, I don't think he'll use his rookie often. He did great in the NCAA tournament (especially during that late comeback against Gonzaga which helped them go into the Final Four and eventually the championship game). That guy from Spain got traded for Evans (from Pistons), so I'm not sure what they're going to do with him.

Ben Wallace probably will stay at Detroit, but after that playoff performance, he MIGHT move. I'm thinking Chicago will, and if he does go there, they might have a great playoff team.

Payton, eh he should retire. He still has some left in him, but he doesn't have any motivation unless he stays with the Heat (or maybe even the Spurs). Same with Mourning.

Hopefully, Clippers will do the smart thing and resign Cassell. Unless the Lakers steal them from us.. then it'll even intensify the rivalry. evil
Lakers wanna pick up Cassell? Wtf? o_O
Laker fans want Cassell, I don't know about the management.
confused !!

Well, anything is good at this point for the Lakers. Kobe needs help, that's all. Either it's Sam Cassell, Kevin Garnett, Ben Wallace, Peja......etc etc, Phil Jackson knows very well that he needs a good pair to take them to the top.

Should i remind you about MJ and Pippen, or Shaq and Kobe?
Thats so stupid the Rockets traded Rudy Gay . confused Why question
Battier isn't that bad. It's good for both teams, although I would've thought the Rockets would've love a Gay and T-Mac duo. Battier has great defense, and he can shoot the 3. Nice fit for the Rockets, but they miss out on a person that could be an all-star or superstar.

Peja, no. He's a three-point chucker (now) and isn't what he used to be. Not to mention he has a lot of injuries (got injured in the playoffs). KG, doubtful. Ben Wallace, that's what they're trying to make Kwame into, and plus he struggles on offense. Sam Cassell, yes, but the Clippers will likely sign him (hopefully). Cassell would probably take the offer from the Clippers since he has a relationship with the team.

Marcus Banks is your likely choice. I was browsing around some forums and they had this rumor of Farmar, Mihm, McKie for Harrington. Doesn't sound too bad. They could sign Banks, Harrington could help with the offense whether it's inside or outside, and Bynum is definite to get playing time. Problem would be if Mitch would want to trade Farmar, or if the Hawks would like Smush.

Dundudndund.
go rators .. my home team go bosh .
Poor Lamar Odom...they just said on ESPN 30 at 30 that his 6 1/2 month old son died
