Chris Paul, hands down. He shoulda been in the All-Star game!! Stupid Ray Allen razz haha

Also, I think Steve Nash will repeat as MVP, and I'm not just saying that cause he's Canadian like me!

Who else has done what Steve Nash has done for his team? Best contenders right now are Kobe and Billups. Let's compare, shall we?

Kobe: career high in PPG, league leader in points. No doubt, he's great, he's awesome, and if this was a 1on1 league he'd definitely be no. 1. But let's face facts here: MVPs are winners. Not individually, but the team. Kobe's Lakers are barely in the playoffs with the Kings and Jazz breathing down their necks. MVPs are chosen in the Conference Finals; there's no way Kobe's getting past Dallas, or San Antonio, or even Phoenix.

Billups: career highs all across the board, the Pistons are the league leaders in record. But the argument here is that none of the Pistons starters were injured, and all five of them are having great seasons. While it's certain that Billups is their leader, I don't think he'd be experiencing the same sort of success without the Wallaces, without Rip, and without Tayshaun.

Nash: Career high in points, league leader in assists, lead Phoenix to second place in the west (by means of Division, not by means of record; record-wise they're third, which is still impressive), and doing so without Amare Stoudamire, who is undoubtedly their best scorer, rebounder, and post-up defender. Argument could be made that he has Marion who is all over the place, but let's face facts: Phoenix can have Amare and Marion and they wouldn't be anywhere near as good. We saw this fact before Nash came in, and the times Nash had to sit out. Not only that, but his teammates are all having career years in points and field goal percentage all because of him.

hey shindoku i like the new place

Thanks.

Chris Paul will win ROY. It's hard to make him an All-Star because he's still a rookie, but it's almost like he's been in the league since ever. Ray Allen or KG didn't deserve those spots in my opinion, but KG seems to always be a lock, just like a Yao (except he gets voted in by his whole country-- cheater!). It'd be fun to see CP in the All-Star game, but don't worry, he still has a lot of years in the league.

As for your MVP candidates, you're correct on your decisions, but you forgot Elton Brand. I'm a Clippers fan, so sorry if I'm biased. He's in the top 10 in scoring, rebounds, efficiency, field good perecentage, blocking, and in double-doubles this year. All his stats are career highs. He worked hard in conditioning over the summer and lost some pounds. He's only 6'8'' and does a good job defensively than those taller than him. It really shows that taller people are overrated. Don't forget, the Clippers actually can make the playoffs. For an achievement like that, he should be considered for MVP. Then again, he also said if he were to choose someone as MVP, he would pick Steve Nash.

Steve Nash has done wonders with the jabronis around him. They didn't expect to get the best out of the Joe Johnson trade. Diaw can play almost every position and fits their style of play. He's improved almost everyone on his team: James Jones, Raja Bell, Eddie House. Don't forget, Amare isn't back yet. =o

It's scary to think what Phoenix will do once Amare is back. Anyone hear more about the rumors of the Kings moving down to OC? Will So. Cal support 3 teams. I doubt many people from San Diego would drive up to watch a game but that's my opinion. 3nodding

Yeah. I heard they want to move to Anaheim because the owners (Maloof Brothers) would be close to their facilities in Las Vegas. Then there's also rumors about the Sonics moving to San Jose.

Bah.

I doubt most of these rumors are true. Its the middle of the season already I don't think teams have new locations in mind right now. And even if these rumors are true you won't be seeing the OC Kings until like 2015

That's the first I heard of the Kings moving. Why would they wanna move? Aside from this year they've had a good thing going in Sacramento.

And yeah, Elton Brand is a strong candidate! Sorry I forgot about him, hehe. But the same argument could be made: Phoenix is better without Amare than LAC, and LAC has been pretty healthy (exception to Corey). But Amare covers more statistical areas than Corey, so Amare is still a bigger loss. In pure stats, I'd still say Nash has done more to lead his team compared to Elton, even though Elton is a very strong candidate.

Acually there true they will be moving in around 2010

Lvoe em or ahte em

Scroll down around the middle. The owners just have a strong interest in moving. It's not official.

oh ok, not official. But hypothetically speaking, if it did happen, would they still be the Sacremento Kings? Or would they become the OC Kings? razz

Anaheim Kings, I suppose.

Flip flop rock[et].

Yes i heard about this and im a big kings fan as well. I dont think they should move! they have amazing fans at SAC and if they move, it'll be different fans and IT COULD affect their play at home! cry

I Will......

Protect You
Yeah, there really isn't any GOOD reason to move.

Really moving is a bad idea you lose fan support and the traditions change. I think you accomplish nothing by moving.

Mad Angels Hideout

RIP SIR BLAKE
6.9.04 - 3.27.08

Thats stupid having three out of the four Cal teams all near LA
