Well you labled it mixed martial arts ... what do we expect ...

I meant people with a starting in tkd, she says she wants to try others.
But perhaps a little more into what we can talk about would have been better.
Cause any martial art is fine, doesn't have to be only mma.

True ... but it would seem that MMA should be more prevolent ...

MMA is the best sport,i practice kickboxing for many years and that is life

I believe in Jesus Christ, my Savior. If you do too, and aren't scared to admit it, then copy and paste this in your signature. biggrin

MMA ALL THE WAY!! wink

I would guess muay thai and jui jitsu are the dominant martial arts in mma right?

depends where you're coming from ... you could know TKD ... Stephan Bonnar has a slight background in TKD ... same with Dan Hardy ... but the thing is the problem why TKD doesn't blend well with MMA ... is that TKD has a lot of footwork ... very bouncy ... in a sport where your opponent can take you down ... that's not a good thing ... but if you have base in TKD ... that is a natural segway to muay thai ...

and MMA is not just muay thai and jiu-jitsu ... you have the different styles of wrestlings, boxing, kickboxing, judo ... a lot of things ... sometime you just need to look ...

Well yeah of course, it just seemed to me the best guys out there come from the two.

Last night Fedor Emelianenko knocked out Brett Rogers in the second round. Awesome fight, here's the fight in not so great quality... sweatdrop

Fedor is known for some sambo, judo, and boxing. Just throwing that out there, don't want ot go off topic or whatever. 3nodding

Rogers was doing very well in the fight ... sucks that my man Mayhem didn't win ... but he had a great preformance ... showed how bad Jake Shield's striking is ... Gegard showed how he is a beast ... and Fabricio Werdum looked good against a very game Antonio Silva ...
