I lived in canada for 12 years since I was little, my brother plays hockey for BCHL, I love it alot! It has been a significant part of my life. Being born in america apperently i'm supposed to like baseball... I think its boring (sorry) prove me wrong, why do you like baseball better... Or do you like hockey like me!!
I'm from the States and have only been out of the country once. Both my parents are from a country that adores baseball. Like my family, I dislike baseball (it really is boring and there's not enough action and it's too long). Unlike my family, I love hockey. Certain areas in the U.S. are pretty big on hockey too, like my current city, home to the 2011 Stanley Cup champions. wink
Baseball home run smile
I'm from the states and I actually like both sports. As you can probably tell from my handle I like hockey more though as I've liked it for years whereas I am just getting into baseball. As for the reasons why I like them... well, I just like all or most sports... so, ermm, yeah...
A lot of Americans don't like baseball. Football's much more popular here than baseball.

Yep! Let's Go Rangers!
I can't sit through a whole game of baseball. I just think it's too slow-paced and there's not enough action. On the other hand, I can probably watch 10 back-to-back hockey games and I'll still enjoy every single one of them, no doubt. smile
I absolutely love both hockey and baseball. I like the intensity and pace of hockey. But I love baseball too (it's my number one favorite sport as opposed to hockey being my second favorite) I guess a part of that is that I've liked baseball longer and I know a lot more of the intricacies of it. I can see why people would think it's boring cause it's so long, but I watch every game of regular season baseball and even most of the playoffs. Another part of why I like it is because I'm a fan of order and baseball is a very structured game. But that's just me.

I just have to ask, are you referring to watching baseball on TV or going to a baseball park and watching a game there? I've noticed, in the short time that I've been watching baseball, that when it comes to watching it on TV I have to join in around the 4th or 5th inning to be able to watch it fully... because the pace just seems slow. Whereas when I go to a live game in person... the innings just fly by and I am more entertained...
Hockey I can truly say is a huge factor in my life.
So my answer of course is going to be... Hockey. I've tried to sit through a baseball game but I can't do it. I get lost super easy... I did do a home run thingy for a local baseball game. But that didn't last long due to some anger issues between the opposing team sweatdrop

But, I think it's also the fact I've grown up around hockey from my dad and both my brothers playing. Can't forget the family gatherings watching the Leafs, go Leafs go!

Touché. I've never really watched a baseball game in person but I guess live action is always better smile

Grabo and Clarke were great tonight. And Kudos to Gardiner on his first.
