Well they do complain about everything, more or less. Hockey players don't get paid nearly as much as NFL players do, their seasons are WAY longer, and just because they get "run over by 250+ lineman" does not give them the right to complain. They complain when word goes around that they might do one or two more games then usual season, and demand a lot more pay then they deserve. Hockey players play year-round, have 2 months 2 practice when their done with their 82 games for the season that doesn't even include play-offs or the Stanley Cup.
Now I'm not saying football is the easiest sport to play, because I've tried it a few times and it isn't easy. (Not comparing myself to NFL players) but yes, it is a hard sport. They do generally get injuries, but all of them know what they are getting into and the cost of being in a brutal sport. But they don't deserve they pay they get, especially when they whine about every little thing. And so many people make such a hype over football season, football players, etc. But in my opinion, hockey is the harder sport, and they deserve a lot more then they get. If you think football is harder, and you are saying you haven't heard ONE complaint coming from any NFL player since the sport has started then that is pretty naive, then okay, think what you want to think. I'm just stating my opinion on both sports.
