Oh, trust me. If something bad happened to him, I would not think it is funny. Not that heartless. razz Buuuuut since nothing did.. ;] It is fine they are all tied. I want a seven game series. A sweep would just be plain boring, no? ♥ I also want INSTANT. REPLAY. MLB needs to get it's a** in gear and use it. I do not see the harm, especially since they have the technology to do so. I think it is funny when haters of teams say "they suck". As, that is obviously not true (not all of the time at least). I do not hate the Yankees or really dislike them (only slightly due to being a Red Sox fan razz . I actually really like Jeter, Damon, and Teix.), but I would never say "they suck". It would just be better if you said, "******** you, good sirs". TL;DR Saying a team "sucks" when it is incorrect seems stupid to me. Go Phillies. |

The Team that I dont want to win the World Series... is ALWAYS the one that winds up winning. So in other words... the Yankees have this in the bag. Its over. So Phillies... do yourselves a favor... forfeit games 4 and 5 and give the World Series trophy to NY. Its not like any other team is ever going to make any kind of effort to win a World Series so just give every world championship to the Yankees even if in 2010 they go winless. |

He's more than capable of pitching one inning tonight. It was a smart move. Girardi gave Phil Hughes a chance and he blew it. I don't know what's going on with Phil Hughes, but whatever it is he better figure it out. You can tell he has zero confidence in his stuff. If Girardi hadn't taken out Hughes when he did there still would have been fans second guessing his decision. I feel bad for Joe Girardi, the guy never wins no matter what he does. Everybody hated the way Joe Torre managed during his last few years with the Yankees and demanded a manager who would be different than Joe Torre. Now that we have a manager who is different than Joe Torre there are fans who want Joe Girardi to manage the way Torre did. By keeping in pitchers who obviously have nothing. That doesn't make any sense to me. I guess if Joe Girardi sat on the bench the entire game and left in struggling pitchers during the World Series everybody would be okay with that? Really? I seriously doubt it. It's the World Series and Joe Girardi is going to do what it takes to win. Imagine if Phil Hughes had given up another home run or something. I'm glad he took him out when he did. The last thing you want to do is give the Phillies a chance to come back. They have an explosive offense that is capable of making a comeback. The important thing is the Yankees won game three and that's all that matters at the end of the day. biggrin |
