I absolutely HATE Bret Favre! evil He needs 2 make up his mind about retiring and if he decides 2 retire he needs 2 stick by that decision... The NFL nation would b much better off if he'd just make up his mind! exclaim

Okay, yeah, first things first, it's Brett Favre - he apparently can't spell and/or pronounce his last name properly. But that's Favre.

I'm a Packers fan, have been my whole life. Ergo, Favre has been a huge part of my relatively short life - up to 2 years ago, he was one of my favorite football players ever. But then he threw a shot at the Super Bowl away with an interception in his last play as a Packer, and all of this retirement acting . . . When we Wisconsinites were taking bets about how long it would take him to come back and join the Vikings this time, well, that says what we think about him. And when he came to Lambeau, we were pretty loud when we booed him. He needs to grow up.

Yeah, I respect what Favre's done, but really, he needs to go away. He retired. Twice. That's enough.

And have y'all seen that Sears commercial with Favre? Yeah, makes me laugh. It's amazing.

the guy's a good qb, there's no denying that...but he still should've retired, if not after the Packers then def. after the Jets

I don't know. If the Vikings win the super bowl, he may be done. And he likes playing for the Vikings - he knows the offense AND he gets to rub the noses of the GB staff in the fact that he's now playing for our biggest rivals. Unless Favre goes to the Bears, I think he'll stick around with the Vikings.

But if he does pull the retirement stunt, the news media should come to WI - we take bets on how long it'll be until he un-retires again. (and why didn't he have to appear to the commissioner this time, like he had to LAST time? Really????)

At this rate, he'll have another record no-one's going to beat - most times un-retiring.
