biglanky14 If you're an all-around sports nerd like me, there are few times of year more exciting than March Madness! 64 college basketball teams duking it out in a series of one-game "loser-goes-home" matches to determine the national champ - it reminds me of the glorious days of being a pro wrestling fan watching Survivor Series, except with fewer sleeper holds. looooooooooooooooooooooooool heyy You're probably planning on filling out a bracket (or 15) as well, and I want to see how well Gaia knows basketball. We'll make this easy - just vote for who you think the overall champ will be in the poll above. And if you want, back up your reasoning in this threadlololol 1234567890. I'll stop by periodically as well to chat about the games, complain about how bad my picks are doing, and to marvel at other people's powers of prognostication. For the record, I'm going to throw my weight behind Pitt, which almost guarantees that they'll be knocked out in the first round. And I've got my eyes on Villanova and Gonzaga as two "solid but not elite" teams that could make a long run. Finally, my first round shocker special is Portland State over Xavier (I was going to pick Siena over whoever they were playing until they got rewarded with a 9 seed and took themselves out of "shocker" territory) - and I will humbly bear all the mocking when they lose by 26. Don't forget that all the games are streamed for free at http://mmod.ncaa.com/. It's worth it just to check out the "Boss Button" - it'll be my best friend over the next three weeks (and if I suddenly disappear, you'll know that my real boss finally caught on).
