that game a few weeks back was disgraceful.

i cant believe we let arsenal score twice! lol man u forever, arsenal should be renamed assenol or arsehol lol
Oh, that's beyond clever. Never heard anything like that before.
And before you resort to some other trite would-be insult, 'I'd 8-2 be an Arsenal fan' has been done. Don't bother. We've heard it.

Nice game against STOKE btw.

Exactly right. Alex will become a huge part of our squad just like Wilshere. Yossi Benayoun is amazing <3

Precisely. I haven't really been able to see Oxo play yet but I'm glad to see some more younger players with potential. If nothing else it'll help to justify Wenger's continuing tactics. Though his methods could use a little updating. Buying youngsters is all well and good, but means it's likely to be a few more years before we're competing for silverware, which will have a lot of fans even more discontent. Don't want to see Wenger in Kean's place for sure. He just needs to be more flexible.

That said, I'm still hoping Mertesacker contributes to a solution for our defense. He has been mediocre so far, from what I've seen, but I'm trying to remain optimistic. We have a team of frail little boys who get blown over by the wind. So lets hope, at the very least, now that we've got a big dude too, at least one person will remain uninjured. Of course his pace is going to be an issue, but beggers can't be choosers.

He's really great and sure to be a future for England and Arsenal. Mertesacker has been great in my opinion. We do need Vermaelen back though, he would help alot. I'm starting to not like Djourou that much.

I think that Wenger will turn it around next match (even though I said that last match). Let's all be clear: no one is invincible in football and definitely not managers. If Wenger loses the next match, well, we should all be considering a potential sack. I have no idea who to replace him.

As for our recent transfers, I was disappointed a bit. They are classy players, but are they really "Arsenal" players? I was thinking more along the lines of Shinji Kagawa, Keisuke Honda, Eden Hazard, Bryan Ruiz, Yann M'Vila? Was anyone really thinking of Arteta or Benayoun? I mean we almost signed Clint Dempsey my god....

I agree with you on Eden Hazard, he needs to come to Arsenal sooner or later, it's destiny. But don't underestimate Benayoun he's becoming one of my favorite players, his movements are just amazing. Let's hope he gives us his best. I don't know about Arteta yet, I don't know him that well. He's performances have been alright, let's just wait and see I guess.
