Barclays agrees to a new 3 year deal to remain the sponsor of the premier league. Next up is sunday against westham and if we can't get three points from them now then we are just as bad as liverpool.

Good to see results fall our way. We have a chance to move past spurs and into 3rd place with 21 points after Sunday and then mid week game against liverpool at the Emerites in the 4th round of the carling cup.

That penalty was the fault of Gallas he gave up a real one that wasn't called and Song was called for a penalty that was not. 2-2 dang it I go off and watch my local team to come home and watch the last 20 minutes of what might as well be a loss for Arsenal. I am surprised that Almunia wasn't given the starter spot before when he had recovered from the chest cold but Mannone seemed to have the first place job from him I wonder who will be between the sticks against liverpool and then again against Spurs, my guess is Fabianski against Liverpool and a coin toss between Almunia and Mannone for Spurs. |

This take over saga has been dragging on since Manchester United took over, first it was the white Russian Mr. Usmanov, now it is Stan Kroenke who has been more active in acquiring every share that goes on the market increasing his stake to 28.9%. The guy seems to know how to run a sports franchise here in the States, but Arsenal isn't a franchise is it. My only problem with him is that he is married to the billionaire Anne Walton, Wal-Mart Heir, I hate that store with a passion. But I will say even split between the 4 kids they have a sizable fortune for each.

2-1 and Arsenal are in the quarter finals come December 2nd or 1st. I hope we get another home field draw, we haven't been great away from home in the League cup against Top division teams. There are only top division teams left if cash strapped brink of administration Portsmouth counts as a top division club any more.
The team has done exceptionally well at home still 100 % in all competitions this season. None of the teams left are light weights but hey we have toppled Liverpool so here is to the draw for the next round, maybe we will get Portsmouth... no we can't have all the luck. It was a good game it's always nice to beat Liverpool xd , I don't get why we don't sell Mark Randall he doesn't seem to be improving he didn't play well at all when he came on. |
